Made some changes. Now everyone can create a DIG account, without a purchase.

Yes, but your account email must match the payment email in order to work.

The discount is displayed for each game where available on the link above.
5 cents for 50+ keys, 3 cents for 100+ keys, 2 cents for 500+ keys

Good to hear this :)

AHHHH
That fucks up my script ;-<
You don't want to put up a csv export (appid, name, Cards, price, dicount1,dicount2,dicount3, added by, keys availiable) for the shop (and maybe even for the trade page but most importantly the shop) by any chance? ;-> I am just to lazy to fix my "extract" script.
Really helps when managing more than one account.

The main purpose is to make the store more "visible" to new customers. You still have the simple list once you logged in to your DIG account.

I've already written a support mail but maybe you can provide some official statement about the revoked keys from "Invasion of Barbarians" here too. Discussion on SG

What would be nice is if there was someway to provide a comment with any negative feedback. Is it the wrong game? Was it a duplicate key? I've gotten 2 bad keys from the marketplace (both Duplicate Product codes) but that doesn't mean there might be other reasons why someone marks a key in the negative.
Maybe it's redundant, but I've sent support requests each time explaining exactly what the issue was just to make it clear.
Comment has been collapsed.
I agree with that - perhaps just a button with bad code, dupe, etc... would at least allow for direct reasoning - I have one that someone marked bad and the code was still active when I checked it :( - so heaven knows why they marked it as negative :P (probably just buyers remorse I guess)

"Hide games I own on steam" feature doesn't seem to function currently for me. You may still be in the middle of altering it, but I had seen the "edit profile" changes and altered the fields accordingly with no luck still.
*2hr later edit: seems to be working now =)

So now, apart from having only one option of purchasing a fixed amount at $5 (before you had the option to purchase any amount bellow $5 for an additional $0,30 paypal fee I think - anything over $5 didn’t have any fee), now I have to pay an additional €1,03 tax for each €4,30?! (fixed price - can only be multiplied). Actually that translates into paying ~$6,5 for $5 store points.
That seems like the end of using the DIG store for me, which is a pity unfortunately.

Plus a "strange" currency conversion. Fast Spring won't allow you to pay in USD, and they do their own conversion to euros (according to Google, $5.00 equals 4,15€ right now, Fast Spring charges you 4,30€ + 21% VAT on the converted amount). Instead of paying $6.05 ($5.00 + 21% VAT), which would be ~5€, it forces you to pay 5,20€ (~$6.25) instead. Not good.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yes, I am aware :( But like you said, it sucks never the less.
I have not tried the VPN trick but I think it won't work. I'm quite sure Fast Spring will check at least if the payment method you're using matches the region you state you're in (for example, it wouldn't let me use a Spanish credit card if I state that I live in the US during checkout).
The "ultimate" fix would be to ask a friend from another country (where no VAT is applied) to refill the DIG account for you and send him the money via Paypal using the "Friends & Family" option.
Comment has been collapsed.
I have been trying for days to topup and even opened up a new paypal account, tried different payment methods but had no luck in the payment being accepted. The only answer from Fastspring is a generic one with five possible reasons, which are all not the case. Sadly this seems like the end of me using DIG, at least for the near future.

Same issue other and i had. Hope they use a better payment processor https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/IcJPX/dailyindiegame-introducing-the-dig-marketplace-sell-and-buy-your-own-steam-keys/search?page=5#biVP99d

Paypal has all my details and it is a verified account - as such I will not be entering my personal info into anything else - sorry exo but that is a no-no when using paypal - there is simply no legal reason to ask for it when paypal is being used (the VAT argument is a none starter as paypal provide residency location details for all of that & other sites I use paypal on do not require it; and they pay VAT as well) - otherwise it is just data mining and requires clearly laid down data protection methodologies (I believe this argument was already had when otaku bundle people tried the same thing? - edit - it was actually gogobundle.com and to be fair they asked for a copy of someones licence or ID card)
please note - before piling in with google knows everything about you already arguments - the advice not to hand out data comes directly from our government web sites on how to lessen your chances of having usable data stolen and/or data mined and is my personal feelings also - hell it is the reason I have a paypal account - so I don't have to hand out all that data to every tom dick and potato :P

It was us.
We are policing the site, so please do not abuse it.

I feel like this site has been losing momentum for a while now. I made sure that I generated all of my keys and put them in a spreadsheet. They haven't had any bundles listed for at least a couple of weeks.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, it seems so. I basically get how the rest of the site works, and I know that if you're buying stuff in bulk that it can be priced better than bundles, but the issue is that there's a much bigger time investment there to figure out the procedure and constantly research what you want to buy. I probably will not really be very active there going forward.
It very well may work great for some other people, but I need to be able to make decisions pretty quickly and execute right away...need to invest most of my time to my job. :)

We have stopped doing bundles as they are now pretty obsolete.
They made sense in the early days of STEAM when there weren't many games around, and picking up 6 at a discount, made sense.
You can now pretty much pick up any game at a bundle price, anytime, from the MarketPlace / DIG Point Store.
Why wait 1 week and get 6 games, when you can get any game, any time?
It also works great for developers. Instead of bundling their games, we pay them upfront, add the game to the DIG Point Store, and move on.

@grez1: By all means we are not loosing momentum. Just moving on to a better business model.
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, I'm very glad to hear that. I like you guys. :)
From a marketing standpoint, I think the challenge is that the site isn't very engaging when you arrive now. At least before, you were presented with all of these bundles and it looked like you had a lot of activity. Now when you land on the site, there is just a big list of text, which doesn't encourage users to interact with it. I feel like you need something that not only says, but shows how the site works, and make it big -- put it front-and-center. You need a graphic that displays 3-4 easy steps to buying keys in bulk (something like "Top Off + Key Selection = Huge Discount!" Make the graphic interactive so that users can drill into the various sections for explanation (i.e., what does "top-off" mean, etc.).
I think that re-working your landing page will give a much better impression of the site being successful, as well as what you're trying to sell and how. :)
Best of luck!

You might want to add next/previous page buttons for DIG marketplace :-)

If there is a region lock, it is being displayed on the MarketPlace.

You sell in your DIG Point Store POSTAL Redux and this game have a region lock. Its not possible to activate in germany. Its marked as region locked game? No! Add a refund button. I spend 25 points but cannot activate the game.

I bought 3 keys for http://store.steampowered.com/app/675940/SpaceShot/ in the market and all was dupe.I never see such spam so far in a site.If i was the owner of the dig i ban these boys automatically!First 2 purchases refunded by itself lets see about the last one...
Comment has been collapsed.
yep I can concur with that game - I have also purchased it and gotten a duplicate product code - just a few minutes ago - so feel free to report it to DIG and include the link to this to show that you are not alone - whoever is doing it must have caught quite a few fish this way :( and it just ruins it for those of us who want to expand our game collections legitimately !
Comment has been collapsed.
Apparently, this game has been given away by random sites.
Those sites sometimes release later those same keys again publicly or w/e means. (or it can be even dev, who knows)
DIG store allows now sellers to click to refund. That's how you must have been refunded.

¿The DIG Marketplace thread was deleted? Anyway, new changes are good, but, for some reason you don't want to show users nicknames. Ok, ¿What about let us see sellers history? I think that info is available and don't require extra space on database and will help the buyers to choose better.
Comment has been collapsed.
We are working towards this but we want to prevent specific targeting of sellers (ie: giving negative ratings as bad competition, etc).
Initially, we will allow this as an option for sellers.
We are building this up carefully.
So far the average amount of bad keys (in terms of money), is at 1.6%

¿The DIG Marketplace thread was deleted?
The fact that it was an ad pretending to be a Deals thread meant it was always destined to be closed. Just like this thread, in fact.

Have you thought of putting as a form of payment through paysafecard?
Thanks in advance.

In which universe is Dollar more what Euro? O.o
Before the new payment shit I paid for $5 = 4,60 € (something like this) and got 500 points.
Now: $5 = 5,12 € for 499 Points -.-
If I pay 5,12€, I want 512 points. Thats scam with the new payment.

Hello gamers,
We at http://www.DailyIndieGame.com are constantly trying to improve our service and bring the best possible deals.
We all know how bundles work. We pay a certain amount and get a pack of games, and that's pretty much it.
We are going one step further with the new DIG ACCOUNTS:
http://www.dailyindiegame.com/content_digaccount.html
You can topup your account, and purchase individual games of your choice from the DIG Point Store and from the DIG Trades marketplace.
The prices are often better than what you would pay in a bundle.
Everything is transparent, fair and simple.
Some notes:
We value your feedback and feel free to share your feedback with us.
