Yes sure, one of the best FPS RPG games, but be sure to get Borderlands 2 GotY, just Borderlands 2 without DLCs is not worth.

have 200+ hours in it just on steam. Probably that on 360 as well...

I'm not a shooter fan but I enjoyed that one. The writing is great, and that enough was reason to keep me going.

Borderlands 1 and 2 are both awesome games. For Borderlands 2 I have over 300 hours with just one of the many characters.

Make sure you get the game of the year version and some of the extra stuff thats not in it.

best grinding humor texture stuff ,if you dont want to waste ur money,crack it and its the same thing,plus in mp with stranger you have the chance of someone stealing ur loot so..yeah...feels like diablo sometimes with that need for good loot xD

Lot´s & lots of running back & forth ... it´s a good game but their "time filler #1" is having you run around for nothing and i´m too old fo that shit.

I love BL2, base is good, but it really shines with Tiny Tina's DLC :

In my opinion, the more you belong to a fringe/marginal Group, e.g. "nerds, metalheads, ..." (i Count myself into both, but damn good looking and a bit irony :D) - and of cause like shooters apart from the "usual'" the more this game would suit you. BL1 was kinda fun, but 2 + the dlcs were totally a blast for me and activated my gatherin/hoarding genes I usually just love to abuse when it's all about the diablo stuff (and of course path of Exile, man do i love this game ^^)
If you're maybe a bit older and/or played pen&papers tiny tinas assault is such a freakin blast, laughed my ass off so many times, i guess it's one of the funniest dlcs of all time - at least for me!

borderlands 1 and 2 are probably one of the best games around... the pre-sequel isn't bad really but I hope gearbox does the next game and not 2k games, the presequel was nothing more than a hacked up borderlands 2

It's good fun if you like shoot-loot-upgrade style and a cartoon-ish look. What sets the game aside from similar ones is the humour underlying the whole game, and Handsome Jack is such a funny jerk. Personally I love it, one of my favourites.

So many pirates... but yeah the game is pretty funny. Specially with friends it's worth it. Singleplayer well, it's not bad but it's made for coop so.

BL2 AND BL the pre sequal is my fav games :D

B1 was boring as f*** I would play B2 only if I get it on a least -80% sell-off

Don't think of it as a singleplayer game, it's meant to be co-op and that is the best way to play it. Also, do not allow friends who are more experienced than you to drag you around because then you are just running and shooting without getting to know the game. Start with 1-2 friends who will create new characters just for your story, you lead, in your own pace, and they can just fallow you around and help with the quests (if everyone is playing for the first time it's even more fun).

For some reason I did not like BL1 and never got past lvl 25, but I really enjoyed BL2. Could be the colors (BL2 is more... snowy)

hell yes, i suck at fps and i loved every minute of it (ok maybe not every minute but apparently i enjoyed some places too much that i was too high lvl for main quest so i had to kill lower lvl suicidal things)

plus you really dont have to like , or be good at shooters. If everything else fails you can always use dual rocket launchers and even i was able to hit stuff with those (:

I really enjoyed the first one although I still need to revisit and complete the DLC's and have started on 2nd one which is also good but I haven't had so much time to finish yet (And playing with friend).
I haven't played the pre-sequel so I don't know about that one.

I would say they are definitely worth buying on sale and possibly at full price but it depends how much you enjoy playing these type of games... adventure story with loads of loot, almost like a FPS dungeon-crawler.
