I can't say anything with certainty but I found record that they also did this in 2021 for $99.. Although that was in December. Still, seems worthwhile to wait and see as long as someone still has some time remaining.

its not a good deal tho.
im on the wait until the end of month coupon method and so far you can grab every month for 6$
72$ if you want every month, and you can just not pay any month you want when the games are all shit

Last year, Paypal had 10% cash back for Humble purchases and Chase had 5% cash back for Paypal purchases, so it ended up being ~$76, not much different from the coupon method. I prefer prepaying rather than having to check at the end of each month for coupons, especially since I'm prone to forgetting. Also, who knows if they will keep giving $6 coupons.
If they offer it again, I guess it will be a little more since Paypal is only offering 2% off now

Count yourself lucky that you got a coupon every month, even more that you got $6 months. About 70% of my months cost full price, with 1 or 27€ months sprinkled there over years. A 1-2€ coupon was already rare, so an annual sub was consistently cheaper for me, even without having PP cash back because I live in bumblefuck to where deals and discounts don't dare to stray.

i cancel every single month as soon as i buy it and have always got the new 6$ deal

Tried the same before buying an annual sub, so there are regional or behaviour-based things if they give out coupons. Overall it felt that I'm better off with a 7€/month annual deal, than waiting for a coupon that never comes in most months, while reading others getting 3€ off deals left and right. I guess I'm back to the cancellation-game, if they don't offer some incentive for the annual (I'm all-around happy with what I got, 8 games for the full 10€ is still nice, and I usually want at least 2-3)

In agreement with VahidSlayerOfAll. I bought it twice and realized too late that the $6 coupons they sent to your email for humblechoice only works if you have a monthly (or no) plan
This is what the HB support rep told me: "The frequency of the billing for the plan would have needed to have been changed to monthly in order to use the coupon. Since no keys have been revealed, I can offer a refund for this purchase."

Edit:
I saw it on ggdeal, and the direct link is here: https://www.humblebundle.com/membership/checkout?duration=annual&promo=holiday22
Not only new membership, you can gift the annual plan to yourself, it will added to your humble account. I tried it, and get another 12 months credits.
When you use this link, don't forget to choose "this plan is a gift". Use the promo code HOLIDAY22 and pay. You will receive an email with a link. use that link and log in as yourself, confirm the gift.
