due to not much time with work and little child im not playing a lot but i try to get some playing done when i get the chance

i second groups like PAGYWOSG or Playing matter that focus on games being played.
there is also the SG Monthly magazine where winners ought to play their wins within 1-2 months and write a review

That's one of the reasons I almost exclusively do private or group giveaways now. I always check out the winners before I send the key, and a lot of the time I see people with over 1000 games and barely any playtime.

I get it. I mostly do group GAs for that reason, and a few in trains or things like that.
If you want to make GAs for people who will play their wins, there are a few groups that are still open though and they're worth checking out

Hey! I've a lot of unplayed games from bought bundles (especially the ones purchased in the past), but on Steamgifts I enter only if it's a game I want to play!
That's why every month I participate in "play a game you won on Steamgifts" and joined groups who strictly require you to play the games you win (for example playing appreciated).
But anyway you decide, if you wanna add me 💙 it'd be great, but don't worry if you'd rather not! :)

Applying :) Probably mentioned hundred times here. There are a lot of events and groups which encourage actually playing your games - Play or Pay, PaGyWoSG, Monthly in a Month, Playing Appreciated, TalePlay to name most popular ones. Participating in those helped me to reduced my SG wins backlog rate to just 52% (2 years ago it was more than 80%).

I'm super eratic with my playing so I could not fit the requrement, sometimes I'm hyperfocusing in one game only sometimes I buy one I turned to find boring or forgot about it etc but here I am anyway :)

I feel the same, with the amount of auto-joiners/bots I run into when doing public ones.
