Recently I have been making a Post-Apocalyptic Playlist. Trying to make a list of songs that a lone survivor might listen to or songs that would go well in a post-apocalyptive movie right before the credits roll.
Some people choose songs to keep that would keep their minds off of what had happened, some choose songs to look badass, some choose sad songs.
Well, If you were one of the last survivors after some catestrophic event- what would be some of the songs you'd listen to as you travel around?

Into White by Cat Stevens.

Partially because I seem to have an inability to stop listening to Tea for the Tillerman at the moment. Also, because it's a haunting tune that would leave everyone having a creepy, melancholic feeling.

Don't know if that's supposed to be post-apocalyptic but I always think of it that way.

I listened Black Sabbath (only Ozzy-era) while I played Fallout 1 & 3 and Jethro Tull and the Mojave Music Radio when I played with New Vegas.

Also, Nirvana - The Man Who Sold The World
And two that would be kinda funny...
One, Two.

I kinda want to add a Dimmu song too, but only if the apocalypse was due to robots. And if it was, that might actually be scary to listen to instead of funny.

(Also, trivia, Full Throttle isn't actually set in a post apocalyptic world, but many people think it is, partly because of that earlier-linked song.)

I often read books like Roadside Picnic or Metro 2033 and I usually listen to playlist containing Fallout, Fallout 2 and Babylon 5 soundtracks while reading.
But with the dangers and scarce energy of the post-apocalyptic world I would probably just listen to the enviroment.
