Is the world ready for Call of Duty Battle Royale Humble Monthlies?

View Results
[Recurring subscription] Well, I didn't cancel monthlies that initially looked worse than this... I'll just go with the flow: one more month...
[New subscription] I'm not into Egyptian tomb swashbuckling, but Calladooty is my joint.
[Maybe subscribe] I’m just waiting for IGN to bring back one of the previous good deals for new subscribers.
[Cancelling / Pausing subscription] That's it, I had enough of these. First UPlay, now Battle.net. I want Steam keys, deitydamnit.
[Non-subscriber, will not buy] Humble Monthly is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. And I don't like uncertainty.

Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered key activates also Red Faction: Guerrilla Steam Edition.

Duskers, Paratopic & Pool Panic are all in wishlist, but i have got 911 last sale, so all in all no regrets for skipping it..

I'm with you as I too have 3 in my wishlist - I'll drain all my SG points on their first waves of GAs.

June was easily the worst month I have ever seen from Humble Bundle. There isn't a single game I am interested in.

Duskers is great, no idea if I'll use anything else for myself. Still very satisfied, considering that I managed to trade away CoD.

I was a bit worried that I'd regret pausing but seeing this I'm happy with my decision. Duskers does indeed seem interesting though.

im so glad that i canceled this month only **** on the later reveals on top of the dead multiplayer game with huge ripoff micro transactions.

only 911 is at least good enough for a filler game .... but thats about it.

Is that given as a Steam key? Its not even released on Steam yet.

AFAIK Humble Originals are never on Steam, but they generally give you a key if / when they are added to it. It's like a small DRM-free bonus game that you download via Humble.

Ah okay, so I guess this makes it the first game of the year that will be added to this thread at some point.

Didn't last month include a HB original set to release this summer on Steam?

Maybe, but we'll see which one releases on Steam first

The HB monthly normally consists of however many games are in the early unlock + 6 other games and also the HB original which is DRM Free. If the HB original makes it to Steam sometimes you get a Steam key for it, sometimes you don't though.

sensualshakti normally adds the DRM Free HB Original to the thread. She's posted it now, it's near the bottom of the OP.

I still wouldn't call it worse than the last monthly where COD was the early unlock, but damn this ended up being pretty disappointing. Probably one of the worst months value-wise, what with just about all the games having had pretty high discounts before and Red Faction Guerilla being bundled so much and given away for free to all owners of the previous version.

Duskers and Pool Panic seem interesting (Duskers being the highlight of the entire bundle for me), and I'm happy with 911 Operator, but Red Faction Guerilla and a 5 dollar game as the rest? Ehhh. Still, for 9 dollars I easily got my moneys worth so I can't really complain. Especially since I managed to trade the COD for 3 games I wanted too.

the last monthly where COD was the early unlock

Interestingly POI, Planet of the Eyes and Random Access Murder have never been bundled since, but yeah Activision surely greedily takes the biggest cut

Hmmm, I only paid $6, and still felt a bit disappointed by this. 911 Operator was the only game I actually really wanted.

BUT... next month looks great.
I really think Humble should pay more attention to indies as their headliners rather than chasing AAA games at the expense of the rest of the bundle. A couple of good mid range indies is almost always better received than an overpriced AAA game.

911 Operator was a great game. I got it gifted for my birthday. Paratopic definitely looks interesting and made me wishlist it.

Red Faction's inclusion's pretty bad since it's just the original game. Those who owned it already own this and most will own it since it was in so many bundles.

Duskers and that Pool thing don't look interesting to me. Black Ops 4 didn't entice me at all.

Overall I'm glad I didn't buy it. I also have a good chance at winning the DLC for 911 Operator since most very few actually own the base game without owning the DLC now.
