2500/3000/3 million DiRT 3 keys have been leaked

I won a key in an Ebay auction, but the key doesn't start with 'F' like every leaked key I've seen, so hopefully I'm safe.

Examples of leaked keys and regular keys: Regular: QGG0E or 4L6V8 or ZX5M6 | Stolen: FHX8B or FHX7D or FHX5X. Check the first symbols before activating.

I just won 3 keys, but they all start with FXPxx-xxxxx-xxxxx. Most likely hacked you think?

So....download and play it as long as you can. You don't know the key you got is legal or not.

You will be banned if your Dirt 3 key starts with F. I checked the 2500 keys leaked from codemasters VIP, all started with F.

you people simply not realize all ~3 millions keys are leaked ... not some thousands ...
anyway how AMD and Valve handle is huge question as tons of the keys were in various giveaways and contents and trivias and who knows where else

I hate to say it (as much as I love AMD) This is all their fault, you don't put 3 Million keys on a webmaster with almost no security. For example when the Ubisoft Employee store link was found for some games, Ubisoft bit the bullet and let everyone have their games for $1.

they are removed from people who ask support for this

That would make using keys from the recent Sanctum giveaway a bannable offense, so clearly they use some discretion in enforcing their rules.

Not to mention that there are plenty of people out there who would find it enjoyable to give out hacked keys to unsuspecting people just because they think it's funny to get a stranger's account banned.

I'm sure there's a difference between the AMD Survey CD-KEYS and the Codemasters one. I got an AMD one a while back and my account is still standing.. for now.

Just avoid using ANY Dirt 3 keys you find from now on.
