Hi guys!

So, I'm broke as hell thanks to being unemployed, (Go Mississippi!)so I won't be participating in this sale. I did look through all the games on sale this go 'round and they had some really good ones.

If I had the money, however, I'd get these games:

Deadlight

Kentucky Route Zero (Has anyone played this yet? This game looks amazing!)

No Time to Explain

Proteus

BIT.TRIP Presents Runner 2

Legend of Grimrock

Bientot lete

Shad'O

Afterfall Insanity

Regardless of if you're like me and this is a wish list (emphasize wish) or if you actually are doling out the cash, what games do you want?

Humm I might get something off my wishlist Clicky. I do have a lot of stuff I already own though (some I haven't added to my account yet).

I ended up grabbing Fortix 2, Blocks that Matter and Analogue: A Hate Story. Everything else I was interested in, I just couldn't justify its price and am hoping it will drop more during the summer sale (and I'm not flat broke).

It's just that I already own a lot of the good ones or am just not at all interested, and even hedging still on some of my wishlisted ones.

I'm hoping so, and hopefully also by summer I'll have more extra cash. Definitely will be a lot better when I get the car fixed.

The only game that I'm really excited about that I haven't already bought is Kentucky Route Zero. I'll wait for a better deal or until I manage to get a job and have 20e to throw at a single game. I bought Proteus, Thirty Flights of Loving and Thomas Was Alone. Thirty Flights of Loving took me 15 minutes to complete (and before that another 15 minutes to play Gravity Bone), and I must say they were probably the best 15 minutes this year so far. Absolutely love everything about it! I played Thomas Was Alone today and it was amazing, and I've wanted to play Proteus ever since it was released. I'm happy.

It also seems Anodyne is now available on Steam. You should ALL get it RIGHT NOW!

I want Kentucky Route Zero so bad I can hardly stand it!

Thomas Was Alone is awesome. The music reminds me of the band Explosions in the Sky.

It is, in fact, and Indie title.

I want to get To The Moon, Organ Trail, Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition, Super Meat Boy, and 10,000,000.

However, I have absolutely no money. Hopefully I can grab some so I can get To The Moon, as it's an absolutely wonderful game I really want.

Kentucky Route Zero is great! Bought it before it was on steam, full price, and don't regret it. Now I wish the other acts would come quickly..

I have a friend that completed it tonight. His only complaint were that the episodes weren't long enough!

I've bought Shank, Analogue: A Hate Story and Magical Drop V, but I think I will grab some more, like Fly'N or Hotline Miami.

none steam sales and indie games are overrated. Bastion at humble bundle is a better deal at 93.33 percent off. Torchlight II and Mark of the Ninja are the only indie games worth playing.

There are many more indie games in the sale worth playing..

Bastion is amazing.

If you like story based games, why not try out To The Moon? It is amazing.

To be honest I didn't see a single game I was interested in enough to warrant buying (that I didn't already have). It's just a bunch of those cheesy little indie games. There's too much of them going around right now and a large amount of them are fairly throw-a-way from what I have experienced. It always feels like I'm playing some silly browser flash game. There's a handfull I'd enter giveaways for, but I wouldn't be upset if I never won one.

I already own a ton of the sale games, but did pick up Recettear, Half-Minute Hero, and then I-Fluid & Puzzle Dimension since they're like $1 each. Still thinking about picking up To the Moon & Fly'N.

I'm not begging. Merely interested in what other people want to play because that's usually a suggestion of games to look at that you've never really considered.

Look at how many games are named over and over. If you'd never heard of them, wouldn't you be a bit curious to find out what they were about?

While I do appreciate it, I will decline. Why not put it up and give everyone a chance at the awesomeness that is Grimrock?

But <3 and +1 for nice people!

Thank you for supporting Kan! My favorite game ever, or I should say that it was just the best experience I've ever had with a "game". I'm really looking forward to the sequels that will be coming soon. You should also look into the other Freebird games (which are free to download) if you like TTM. They are kind of not the same but it's the same RPG-rouge-style and hey it's free... I haven't played them all out but I play them when I get really bored and it's a decent experience I guess.

I downloaded them as soon as I was done.

I checked the website the instant I closed the game to look to see what else they offer!

Your game collection has always filled me with a sense of awe. (And jealousy)

Sadly, no job.

I'm gonna be moving though. There is nothing in this tiny little town that I haven't begged, soo...

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

You shouldn't be jealous. One year ago (when I was jobless), my collection was small and I struggled to buy things. As soon as the job came, so did the money and then I started buying and buying and buying. I'd be lying if I said my appreciation of games didn't take a hit. There are over 200 games I haven't even started up yet. It's gotten so ridiculous that I freak out and sometimes play the same game over and over (like Stalker), to avoid confronting the massive backlog (and sometimes I just want to live in the past). It's a bitter sweet feeling for me, more good than bad, but there still is a bad side. Part of me is really happy that I have so many choices, but part of me is afraid I'll be an old man before I get to finish them.
