The hardest game I ever played as a kid was probably Kingdom Hearts, now I don't think I have a game that's really hard for me

Battletoads!

Skyrim. Getting through only character creation takes me on vanilla more than 4 hours. And full day with mods.
And then, 2 months later, I found myself inside some ratty cave never thinking about visiting Greybeards or Ulfric...

Well, actually it was not Skyrim. It was XCOM: Enemy Unknown with Long War mod on hardest difficulty + ironman. That was fun.

Donkey Kong on arcade, controls are awful and there's no way you can reach the kill screen which is basically the end of the game

mario on old videogame console.....never completely finished

Pacman

By far, Grim Fandango Remastered. It's not trying to get your hands to work a certain way, it's literally about getting inside the dev's heads on some of those puzzles.

They are a lot: Super Meat Boy, FTL, Risk Of Rain, Dark Souls, Sunless Sea, Crypt Of The Necrodancer, The Binding Of Isaac (Original and Rebirth), Heavy Bullets, They Bleed Pixels.

Are you smarter than a 5th grader. Couldnt make it out of the tutorial.

Cat Mario was infuriating yet fun.

I've just finished the first MGS game and damn, it shows it was made back in '98. It was a long time since I was challenged like this (partly because I think the controls are a bit wonky but anyway).

and also Grim Fandango Remastered, playing it right now. This game exists in its own little world with its own twisted logic in it, you need to be creative to get through.

Maan, that game is godlike.

Dark Souls is incredibly hard. Super Meat Boy was also incredibly hard at one point, but after 250 hours, it isn't very hard anymore.

I think I have to say Cloudburst. Maybe because I SUCK at speed areal parkour.
