So I would like to get myself a new keyboard, the one my using now is kinda broken and ruined

The i have my mind of 2 Razer keyboards:

  • Razer BlackWidow Tournament Chroma RGB Mechanical
  • Razer DeathStalker Chroma Expert

What is better in ur opinion and why, does mechanical matters / improve performance ?

Thanks for your time

^ This. Cheap as hell, but it is one of the best general-purpose keyboards ever. No wonder they have been in circulation since like forever.

But if you really want to blow a wad of cash on a keyboard, then yes, get a mechanical. If you get something with Red switches or with infrared, they are not even loud at all.

Why do you think you need a mechanical one?
I've had my Logitech G15 refresh for over 10 years and it still works fine.
The 2 Microsoft Internet Keyboards are about 18 years old and still work perfectly.
Edit: Cherry makes good Keyboards too. Logitech had a few years where their quality went downhill.

NOT Razer anyway, anything else. I have a Trust GXT 850 and it's everything I've been looking for. Made of steel+plastic, keys very similar to mechanic

Got a blackwidow, lasted 2 months, bought a Steelseries 7G two years ago (I think) and it's still working great. I used to change my keyboard and mouse every few months... Steelseries' products are really solid, they can handle coffee, a cat and me when I'm pissed off. The only problem is : the keyboard is kind of ugly and expensive.

i dont touch razor products anymore since they started to force an online connection via Synapse for them to even work,i would get something like a Corsair k70 rbg (one im currently using) and forget about razor til they go back to there old ways.

Honestly, if you want an RGB keyboard, go with Corsair.

microsoft natural multimedia keyboard.

i dont know how long ive had this keyboard, but its phenomenal... over the years its gotten dirty and ive pulled it apart a number of times just to clean it and prolong its lifespan, because i dont know what id do if it died and i couldnt get another one of these.. probably move to console or something.

I've tried other keyboards.. logitechs with their soft keys and tried going back to straight boards, but.. nah.. this and only this for me. Don't need any fancy lights or whatever, just solid reliable key clicks and the bonus of having my media controls for music on the fly? i love love love love love my keyboard.

no doubt this doesnt help you in the slightest, i just love my keyboard!

Razer products are overpriced for their build quality.

If you just want a mechanical keyboard get a Ducky or Filco, but if you're obsessed with RGB lights Corsair makes some.

Agreed - purchased one once and it lasted for three months of my hamfisted mashing before it swore at me and died :)
