Hello people
I would like to know if you have any good, atmospheric, relaxing games for a guy like me, who needs to chill and relax :)
Bonus points for:

  • nice visuals (but not 'have to be', by relaxing games I mean puzzles like Lines Infinite)
  • relaxing and charming soundtrack (extra bonus points for calm guitars)
  • good story or at least gameplay (see: visuals)
(- extra bonus points for light, pastel colours that would please my eyes)

So as you can see, I need just relaxing game in any genre.
obligatory giveaway - region locked for Japan - sorry my Asian friends :(
btw. mood songs are welcome :)

Plague Inc can get frustrating as heck if you're hunting for achievs or trying (and failing) to infect Greenland :D
But yes, it's a great game :)

played it a bit right now xD just finished every disease on at least easy, mainly on normal (Neurax bug was really strange, and nano virus as well. and I haven't expected possibility to give orders to hordes of zombies in necro virus xD)

https://store.steampowered.com/app/851730/Sandmade/ is a game I found relaxing in that it made me focus on it solely basically fitting a couple of blocks together which doesn't explain it well
https://store.steampowered.com/app/470780/She_Remembered_Caterpillars/ deceptively difficult

hmmmh, somehow I thought it was multiplayer PvP game (which I am not into, I do not like rivalry in games, that's why I do not play MMO) but I see it is single player game! I will try it soon! :)

It's still pure single player, some wants the multiplayer added though.
I love this game, always smiling like an idiot when playig this. ;D
I hope you will enjoy it, when you decide to try it. ;)

Stronghold - in building mode - just build your castle. No enemies. Quite relaxing for couple of hours.
Sims 2 - just do what you want in whatever pace you want.
You can connect both and play sims medieval xD Also this has great and relaxing soundtrack imo.

Stronghold in building mode looks cool, thanks! and I have never played sims myself, but when I was little I loved watching my sister playing The Sims (first game, without any DLC yet)

Sorry for the lack of titles but I'm more into "visually" relaxing games than "gameplayly" relaxing ones :D

Another vote for AER - Memories of Old. Nice visuals, no fighting and the flying mechanics are very well done. Overall a very relaxing gaming experience.

and indeed, I enjoyed it a lot! remember when I wasn't expecting anything in this game, just doucle clicked a button on my pad and hero transformed into a bird! I was shocked not to said that was breath-taking :D Really loved this game <3

I felt the same way about the game. To my surprise it also got quite existential and thought-provoking at times.

As someone mentioned above, Submerged is an excellent game that is quite relaxing. You can almost feel the ocean breeze blowing in your face. Plus the soundtrack for it is very nice! The soundtrack is on sale (90% off) right now if you don't already own it.

This is one of my favourite games ever. I wish I could erase my memories of playing it just so I could play it again anew!

Oh I love nice-looking puzzle games! So here are some of them that I have played and that I can recommend. And yeah, they all are relaxing and atmospheric.

If you like jigsaw-like puzzles:

If you like math:

If you like hidden-objects gameplay:

And one more. It's not a puzzle, but it's very cute and it has a very charming soundtrack :)

I really enjoyed Hook and Zenge. Glass Masquerade (1 one I played) I really enjoyed <3 Hidden folks I almost finished, still have it installed to come back :D for other games: I will try it :) and I just wondered if Lara Croft GO (as well as Hitman GO and Deus Ex GO (unfortunately not on Steam)) is really good :)

It will probably look like this.
It's a joke, but different from other puzzles.
Music is also good, but anyway it is a rope!

Yonder looks like game for me :O amazing, beautiful and colorful world! Reminded me of My Time At Portia (game I have to buy on next sale) and looks a bit like Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild - unfortunately I do not own Switch so I haven't played it.
The Gardens Between have my attention as well

Haven't played Submerged and Mirror's Edge and Lara Croft GO. and haven't finished MIND, but it is just because I fell in love with the views, especially of the great lake that looks like mirror. I have to play it again!

mirror edge 90% of it is just platforming in a beautiful urban settings and its not hard or frustrating to finish , also Submerged 100% of it is platforming, there is no fighting
