EA is hopping on a successful bandwagon & people are surprised?

Sound interesting, but I'm definitely suspicious about the pricing... Wonder if it'll go down to the From Holland With Love bundle pricing?

This looks like a bundle that will be sold on Steam not as an indie bundle like the Humble Bundle. I highly doubt this will be as cheap as you guys are hoping for.
Notice under BillingType it has BillOnceOnly just like all other games sold on Steam. Humble Bundle and other indie bundles have it set to ProofOfPrepurchaseOnly.

Looking at the first four titles, and the publisher, wouldn't "The *ank Bundle" be more appropriate?

Also, the only thing unlocked when you install the games will be the personal data on your hard drive.
Thanks, Origin...

I got every achievement from it. Beat the game three times already.

Epic bundle, I would really love those games. But, as always with big guys, it would probably be too expensive for me to purchase.
UPD Just as I thought - great bundle, but it is about 2 times more expensive than I am willing to pay for it. Oh, well. :)

Totally going to grab this bundle if it includes Steam Keys. If it's Origin however...

Considering it's in Steam database... I'm sure it will.

Until the 9th of may. Are they trying to milk the games as much as they can before releasing the bundle?

after a pretty bad experience with spore (which i thought might be okay since it also had the maxis name on it), i'm no longer buying anything that ea has anything to do with. warp looks pretty cool, so it's unfortunate to me that it's associated with ea. i already have shank from humble indie bundle #4 and am surprised and disappointed to find out now that it's published by ea. guess i'll have to be more careful with indie bundles. according to the steam store page for the baconing which i understand is a deathspank game, ea didn't publish that one.
i suspect they'll sell this bundle under a different name since a lot of people don't like ea and might pass it up on name alone if it's actually called "ea indie bundle"

The baconing was their first self published game (for the deathspank guys). Which may be why the title isn't called "Deathspank."
They may name it something else, but at the same time perhaps they're trying to get on people's good side. Which I doubt as that's not really eas thing. Oh well. I hope it isn't too much..

good to know about the baconing, thanks!
i was wrong about the name -- it's on steam now and actually called "ea indie bundle" it appears to be priced similarly to other indie bundles in the steam store (though currently 70% off), which is what i expected but of course i didn't say anything about that part in my previous post...

So as it turns out, the bundle isn't actually that great a deal, at least over the individual prices. I'm interested in the majority of these, 4/6, and I'm only saving like 2 bucks this way.
It's neat that the individual games are 50% off, though.
