Ahh, great lakes. Good stuff, a friend from Ohio brought me some a while back. I don't drink so much anymore, though. Think I've just outgrown it mostly, though I will have a beer or some wine with friends every once in a while. Bells Hopslam is my favorite beer, it's a winter seasonal. Amazing stuff. As for liquor, single malt whiskey and gin & tonics are the best.

It's always interesting to me how many non-Americans actually drink Jack. It's rather average as bourbons go, I'd recommend Bulleit Bourbon 10 Year Old,E.H. Taylor, Jr. Barrel Proof(rather pricey though, about $100 a bottle), and Four Roses Small Batch.

I used to drink it too, still have half a bottle here. Realized I hate alcohol though. And I always hated it with Coke, I used apple juice, much better taste. It's mostly the advertisement that got me to buy this one. I wanted to be "cool" like all my southern rock/metal idols. D:

I guess because these days I only go out to a handful of bars where I know the staff I never bother mixing anymore, unless it's a cocktail like a Moscow Mule. The simplest mixing I do any more is a gin and tonic.

I've never learned how to drink normally, so pretty much anything with alcohol disappears, with the exception of vodka. I don't like drinking vodka first, I gotta start easy with a wine or champagne or whiskey and then ease up :^)
I've got a genetical advantage though, it's really hard to get wasted for me even though I have a low body mass, but it comes with a terrible price. If I get drunk enough, I'll get the horrible urge to dance like crazy...

I also love slivovice (or slivovitz, not sure how do you write it in English) and grappa, but they are not easy to come by where I live these days.

I dislike Coke - a lot! xD But yeah, vodka with orange juice is awesome. I mostly drink Stolichnaya or Smirnoff with orange juice. If it's Smirnoff North, then I drink it without juice, on the rocks.
