Best Radiohead album?
I'm not listening to it... not yet...
But I believe it when you say it's beautiful, I love pretty much everything Radiohead has made so far!

Only Burn the Witch
In Rainbows is my favorite Radiohead album, or at least the most consistent one, the one i kept listening while waiting for something new. Kid A is great too and OK Computer has their best song imo
I didn't really much cared for TKoL
And well...Pablo Honey is one of my most hated albums of all time, i just can't listen to it

I could say that about TKoL, i dont think its a bad album per say, i just have no interest for IDM
As for Pablo Honey its not that much different from The Bends, but i still dont like it. Not even Creep which seems to be the song everyone thinks of when i mention radiohead.

Not who you're responding to but I would personally recommend Interpol's El Pintor. I know it's a 2014 release but I can't think of anything else from last year that could dethrone it.

I'm a big Radiohead fan and I'm really excited about their new release but I haven't listened to it yet, only the first single, which I really liked.
So hard to choose a favourite album! I'll go with Kid A but could be almost any really.
Btw, I'll watch them live in less than a month (Primavera Sound - Barcelona) :P

Oh! My friends really wanted to go to the Primavera and they really regret they didn't buy the tickets. I hope you enjoy it a lot for all of us, I just know I have to see them live someday, it's a must!
Also, here you are

Oh right, it's supposed to be out today.
Can't be worse than TKOL though

TKoL is somewhat ok if you imagine that it's some Yorke's side project (featuring the members of Radiohead). I consider The Eraser more of a Radiohead release than TKoL.

Because of Burn the Witch currently rehear all of their albums. The Bends and OK Computer are my favorites right now.

Really difficult to vote for "best" Radiohead album, I have so many favorites!!
I voted for Hail to the Thief, because I am sure that others like Kid A and Ok Computer (obviously) will get more votes / attention.
Otherwise I would have voted for Kid A :)

I'm 100% with you. Hail to the Thief is such an awesome record but it's a bit more complicated than kid a i guess.
but still. I could not not vote for kid a :D

There's something really special about Hail to the Thief! Also the limited edition CD is just awesome.
I would have voted for Kid A, but yesterday I woke up sucking a lemon :Λ

Fake plastic trees alone made me vote for the bends :3

Most likely "everyone" who knows (only) Creep, doesn't know (both them and the dogs) that this track belongs to an album called Pablo Honey.

I have discussed this with anathema themselves - i.e. Daniel Cavanagh - influences can be there, as for Mogwai etc, but that's not the case for me, since it's a band you experience and you can really identify yourself with, not just something to "listen to".

Downloading new one atm and listening to In Rainbows while at it. God damn, it is such a perfect album. Exactly what I needed today.

I just grabbed my In Rainbows CD to listen to!
Even though they released it as free, or at least with a 'set your price' tag, I bought the physical copy as every other full length Radiohead release :)

Can´t wait for the NOS alive to see them! .
When i listen their music i'm way from the world... its just perfect.

Just watched the 2 video's for 2 tracks on Pitchfork, it's nice easy-listening music like their other stuff as of late. Great for the waiting room at the dentist/doctor or in an elevator I guess, to relax people :)
I'll skip this one too, maybe next time :)

It's pretty great - I've listened to it about four times already - BUT MAN IS IT DEPRESSING - Thom split from his common law wife of about 25 years, and you can feel it on this album. True Love Waits almost made me cry in that context - especially since the original version is so much more upbeat, I wouldn't be surprised if he wrote that song for her back in 1995 and that's why it was redone
I was disappointed in KTOL, but I came around on it after some time

Am I the only one that is listening to it right now? After waiting for five years after the release of TKoL the only thing I have to say is that this is beautiful <3
EDIT: I just finished listening to it and, if you didn't know, the last song is True Love Waits (first played in 95 but there wasn't a studio version 'til now). Whoa. Nothing else to add.
EDIT2: You can buy the album here
