I wish more people were jailed for making stupid comments on the internet. Would be a much nicer place.

The charges are utterly preposterous. It's clear that all the authorities involved are either completely imbecilic or using the boy as a political statement. "We can't catch real terrorists, but don't be mad at us! We're going to put an innocent and facetious teen in jail for 8 years to show how serious we are about terrorism!". Absolute pigs. They should let the boy out and then jump off a building. JK. No actually, not JK.

On a side note, what the hell is the good of all the social media spying if a monumentally idiotic middle-aged woman beat the FBI to find a "terrorist"? Even if this is politically motivated, do they not understand how hilariously tragic this appears to any sane person? After all the torture and spying and war and all the other bull, they've gone and put a face on terror. It's a sarcastic 18 year old teen who was tracked down by state of the art counter-terrorism: a brain-dead woman stalking him on FB. Everyone involved deserves vitriol, and more.

maybe now people will understand making jokes about shooting up schools and/or rape jokes are not funny as whats worse is that it was on public social media where its always going to be taken out of context
