Carefully checked everywhere that Payday: the heist had never been in any bundle, bought extra copies during Steam sales in order to finally create non-bundle GAs and raise myself above the $30 tag, given two copies away, enjoyed about 10 days of $78 CV then seen it plummet back to the infamous $30 again because of some russian temporary discount that happened weeks before my purchase. That was stupid, wasn't it? Got it, won't do that mistake again.

Bought Dust: An Elysian Tale, Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams, Deponia, both Book of Unwritten Tales games, and many others. They were released on a bundle later.
During free weekend of COD Ghosts: on the winter map, I went into the cabin, went into the bathroom, crouched down on top of the toilet, and shot people as they walked past the door.
What I learned: for people that are terrible at FPS games, just sit on the toilet and camp and you will be fine.

Anytime I buy a new game it is a stupid thing to do. Hoarded almost 500 games over last 4 years while I spent 90% of my playtime playing Counter Strike and League of Legends. Well, at least I do support developers even though I will probably never play most of the games I have bought.

Got it on sale, but was dumb enough to buy the multi pack. Feel your pain.

I have Arkham City and Arkham City GOTY as separate entries for some reason...
And One time got on Max Payne 3 multiplayer without turning my trainer off. Thought I was awesome, nope I was just a dick.
Oh and I bought a bunch of redundant dlcs for Borderlands once, even though I had the season pass, and steam just went right on ahead and let me.

It was Xmass of 2004 when i first played Counter Strike Source. I activated it on my ucles account wich only had like Half Life in it. He let me keep this account cause he said he was never gonna use it. Now after all this time, with the release of bioshock infinite, deusx human revolution and other games that require steam, he took the account and changed password. I had to switch to my junk account and rebuy everything.............

I pre-ordered HomeFront for the full retail price. Now, it sits in my library and laughs at me. There is some good that came from it, however. I no longer pre-order games blindly, and that has saved me from buying things like Aliens Colonial Marines, COD Ghost, etc.

Just did mine today.
Bought the Rockstar Bundle on Green Man Gaming this morning, already owning some of the titles. I then proceeded to activate the keys for the games I didn't own and was left with some spares. Rather than copy/pasting my newly spare keys straight into into the file I keep them in, I decided to check them first.
I often try keys for stuff I already own, looking for the "Product already owned message" just so I can see that the keys sent were for the correct games. Well, I'll not be doing that any more! Already owned Max Payne 3 and you can imagine my surprise when my Max Payne 3 key actually activated.
Turns out I had a Max Payne 3 (ROW) on my account and this new key was for Max Payne 3 (WW). Whilst I knew there were different regions, I didn't know you could actually activate 2 keys of the same game from different regions on the same account. Total waste of a key. Lol, what an idiot.
So what's the dumbest thing everyone else has done? Anyone else been as stupid as me?
