I'm not sure we'd play games together, but I like having nice people as friends. I'll send you a friend request now. :)

Well, you are a women on an internet. About the most sexist and creepiest place right behind an empty alleyway behind a stripclub
Not much for coop games or multiplayer, but I love to compare stats and check out screenshots and reviews others share, so I'll send and invite as long as you are increasing your friends list

This isn't friends making, this is just a way to raise one's self-esteem by having tons of "friends" on social media (and Steam is social media in a way). Many people do this nowadays. I mean, do you intend to speak with every person you added? Do you intend to play games with everyone? It's impossible. ) I too, have many "friends" on Steam but most of them are either people who won a game I was giving away here on steamgifts, or people whom I met playing Armello.
p.s. I'm going to add you anyway, in case you ever want to play Armello (I suggest you check it out).
p.p.s. Sorry for my English, not my native language.

"You can call someone your friend even if u never ever really had time to talk to each other"
How is that? How can you call a friend a person who you don't know and never even talked to?

lol. First of all, it's not love. Yes, you can fall in love with someone who you see for the first time but it won't be love. Even if you feel like your your life is the worst because she/he doesn't appreciate your "love" and doesn't appreciate your feelings, well, your feelings were never love.

I believe in love, but it takes time and even some work.

also, you didn't answer my questions but decided to ask me a question instead. Which is not polite.

Sharing is caring, yeah. But my opinion is that even if two people have much in common they can't call themselves friends if they didn't even talk once. And, if we're speaking about real friendship, talking once or twice is doesn't even close to be friends. But may be close to call someone a friend on the internet. But you still have to have at least some time talking to them. And deaf people can talk by using a keyboard, that's what I meant about friendship. You may have a lot in common with someone but if you don't talk with them from time to time - you're not friends, you're just strangers who happen to have each other on their friendlists. And even if you speak from time to time, you're just pals, buddies or whatever. A friend is someone special, a person you know well and can entrust with your feelings.

It's just polite to reply and have a small talk with people whom you just added. But it won't be possible to keep up on the day-to-day basis (and most of them won't write you). So, it's not friendship, really. Just a list of people.

the whole concept of ''friends'' on the internet is arbitrary. its more or less ''acquaintances''. But making it "acquaintances list" doesnt sound good. Hence its called friends list..
I mean Its quit obvious that people you add in some kind of social network will most likely never be a friend of yours. Merely an acquaintance.. Take facebook for example. I have added bunch of people I have met once or twice in studies/work. But I know them. Doesnt make them a friend, but I see what they are up to and they see what I am up to. Same on Steam - I dont know 90% of my friends list, but I love to see different reviews, screenshots and being in a group chat or chatting individually.
So I dont really see the need for you to point out that its not a friendship when it never has been intended as such. For random socialising these "friends" are good enough. Just like people here on SG forum.

Well, I think you're right. It's probably that I just don't know English enough to say my thoughts properly. But Regina, instead of saying smth like "let's be friends!", could've said something like "Let's socialize and we could become friends"?
Am I boring? I think I am.

I completely agree with everything you've said so far and your English is actually a lot better in comparison to others who also replied here that are actually native speakers.
