Description

Hope you have a most glorious day. Instead of thanks, maybe post something that somebody else has done for you in a kind and unexpected fashion fashion or if you haven't seen it, perhaps give This Thread a bump to remember that you are never alone. (Battleborn GA + more in comments). If you haven't experienced a random act of kindness, consider doing it for somebody else one day.

NOTE Comes with Japanese language pack

Back when I was a cashier at a craft store, a customer bought a candy bar and gave it to me. I'd never had a customer buy me a snack before, it was one of the nicest things that had happened to me there. then it took a turn for the strange when i said "i love this brand," and the customer snapped, "that's what's wrong with your generation, all you eat is candy, in my day we ate fruit and liked it" and etc. so i'm not sure why she bought me candy if she hated the fact that people my age ate candy, but hey whatev

Ah, awesome! Was wondering what language that would be included so didn't want to enter. But if it's Japanese then I'd gladly enter: Thanks for the ga :)

And since it'd be rude not to write something as a reply to the description: The first random act of kindness that comes up in my mind would be when I was younger (around 10) and opened an door for an elderly lady, she gave me some money that I immediately spent on an icecream
Gonna go bump the thread now as well, so sorry for the incoming "spam"

A couple of years ago I took a half day off work on my birthday so I could go out for a lunchtime drink with my wife to celebrate. When I finished work (around 12:00) I rang the landlord of the pub I usually go to after working at my allotment at the weekend to see what time he opened and he said he was opening up shortly if we wanted to pop down. We did and it turned out that he hadn't planned on opening that day but had done so just for me & my wife to have a couple of pints. A small gesture but one I really appreciated and we still keep in touch and are waiting for his new pub to open its doors in a few weeks :)

Oh & thanks for the chance - wish listed GA for me :)

I bumped the You're Not Alone post and added a GA :)

I've never had a friend give me a gift, let alone a handmade one until I turned seventeen, I think. I give handmade gifts a lot because I like origami though... XD When I received one for my 17th birthday, it caught me off guard. It kinda felt weird because I wasn't used to it, but it does make me feel happy to know that someone remembered my birthday and made me a gift. :3

Hmm, my mother came up and stayed with me this past week and helped me unpack and get my new apartment organized which was super kind of her. It's all so neat now. :D
