I'm freaking jealous.
Netflix is for sure affected for laws about content, rights owners and copyright stuff. But one thing that bugs me is that the USA content is so much bigger than other countries. Nothing but contracts/agreements can solve this situation, so I'm just gonna moan about how bad this is.

God, I miss The Office.

let your country produce better content

Demand your country produce better content

i would know, since the 90s my country discovered remakes, opened Soap opera studios, and the quality in entertainment has decresed ever since, when before we had little but good content.

It's been 3 years since I disconnected my cable service for good. Insane values for cthulhu-knows-how-many reality show and sitcom channels, less than 1% worth my time to watch. I see people complaining about Netflix but it's the only service I pay here (ok, got amazon prime video a few weeks ago because of American Gods) and it fits well for the price. Not that awesome content, but heck, it's half a movie ticket per month.

We only get a fraction of the US catalog, but I have no trouble finding stuff to watch that interest me. Finding time to watch it is the challenge.

BTW, if you search for specific things to watch (e.g. based on lists) you are guaranteed to be disappointed, as even the US catalog doesn't include most of what you'll search for.
