I really don't care for both The Witcher 1 & 2. Never got past 15 minutes each.

Not that I hate the story. The point is I really can't play games with that 3rd person view. Same happened with Dragon Age: Origins. Clumsy as f*#k to play.

Team Fortress 2, Fallout 1 and 2, and even New Vegas I could never get into. Also most RPG games.
Oh, and The Witcher... It was awful, first the performance was terrible (whenever the camera moved around in a cutscene, my framerate would drop from 50 to 5 or 10). Secondly, the combat system is messed up and badly executed. That's only my opinion, though, I really wanted to love these game, but just couldn't...

Shout out to the people that voluntarily entered a "call a game overrated" thread that are OFFENDED people find a game overrated and are feeling the need to comment on people's comments.
I mean, this thread is full of horrible opinions. But you knew that before you clicked on it. Can't play the surprise card.

Divinity II: Developer's Cut....the game became nigh-on unbeatable after 1 hr. of gameplay. The monsters were too much for my low-level character; I wiped out all the low-level monsters earlier and couldn't build my character further.
Resident Evil 6.....strayed too far from the series' original premise of dark investigation -- now a shoot 'em up like CoD.
Rune Classic....too hard and blocky graphics, in a 2001 game.
Crusader Kings Complete.....no tutorial

I am just confused why you would 100% a game that you don't even like.

"There's a thing I call Demo-Oriented Design, where you start by constructing a demo that will wow the crowds at E3, then try to expand that into a full game." Alice Madness Returns in a nutshell. Great ideas with weapons, platforming, shrinking/invisible things - but they are EVERYWHERE.Situations, challenges or rather chhores are being repeated again and again, after it while the game looks beauriful, you just don't know why the game didn't ended hours ago. (IMO the game is at least 20% longer than should. It's really empty and repetitive to it's lenght)

Not even trolling, but Skyrim. It's like single player WOW with all the fun removed, not that WOW has been fun since before Burning Crusade.
Call of Duty as well, it's like a Nascar game with guns, but instead of driving in circles the whole time, you're on foot.

MOBA games, everyone of them, they suck, IMO
And TF2.

Starcraft/Warcraft. Those are simple RTS games. Maybe there is good story there and tons of mods, but I don't see why those games themselves have to offer. Some people play them because other RTS are similar and SC/WC are popular, some gloryfy Blizzard (I know 1 persone who does that).
Gears of War - since now every third person shooter has cover mechanics it's just the same game as others. Story is forgettable, gameplay is just ok. Spec Ops The Line was way better even if there are actually the same mechanics.
Binding of Isaac - I tried to find why people play it so much. 4 hours in game. Still nothing. Ugly, some people might be insulted by many religious things (but I don't care that much actually), repetitive, boring.

Witcher series.
Yes I'm serious, please don't kill me.

Dota 2, LoL, and basically any other MOBA. They're pretty much the opposite of enjoyable, even more so because of the terrible community in those games. I don't want to say that the games suck, but they really aren't good. =\
I can say, though, that almost every single MMORPG out there sucks. I've played tons of them, and they're bland, boring, and lack any actual content. Other than visually (heck, a lot of them really do look similar), they're pretty much identical. There aren't very many that can be considered good, and there are probably only a couple of them that I would call great.

Metal Gear Solid 4. I'm a huge fan of the series but this game was full of flaws: super long cutscenes, boring story with lame explanations (nanomachines). Bosses without personality (the worst in the whole saga).
Liquid was awesome, Ocelot was awesome, but somehow they managed to mix the 2 into the worst villain ever.
I had to take a break from the series (even from replaying my favorites) because of the disappointment MGS4 was.

Hm, this might be touchy topic and might even piss some people off. But I'm pretty sure everyone has played games before that most people seem to like, yet you thought they absolutely sucked.
Mine would be:
Tomb Raider 2013 - 96% overwhelmingly positive. Finished the game from start to finish 2 times to get all achievements, and didn't enjoy at all. Repetitive gameplay consisting mostly of shoot-out segments and QTE. Close to zero variety topped by dumbed down puzzles.
Bioshock Infinite - I wouldn't say it was bad, but it felt quite repetitive, despite the intriguing story. What do you think worth finishing?
And since the other topic is getting less attention, the GA link from that topic is here:
