Recently, I somehow reached level 7, so I'll use it as an excuse to start a little train. The real question is, which song would you like to listen to for the first time again? For whatever reason: how it made you feel, what it means to you, you just liked it... whatever. In my case, I would say Dead Butterflies by Architects. I don't know, it has like a wide "aura" that really gets to you, someone was chopping onions for some reason. Of course, not a song for everyone, but that's how music works!

Train ends the 12th of July @ 23:59

Quick blacklist check

EDIT: Loving how the thread is going so far, lots of new music to discover! I forgot about Loathe - Babylon..., as someone said in the comments, "the perfect soundtrack to the end of the world". It caught me by surprise how it made me feel like a small point in a whole galaxy, if that makes any sense.

HINT: Check the link

Oh wow, all the times I've heard that song and I never knew the name or who sings it

Turbo Knight - Mirrorverse My favorite song
Ben E. King - Stand By Me
Boxplot - Tramontane
Gunship - Ghost (feat. ‪@powergloveaudio‬)
NF-Paralyzed
Mick Gordon - 11. BFG Division
Normani - Motivation
Danger - 0 59
Umi - Love Affair
5 Seconds Of Summer - Ghost Of You
Thirty Seconds To Mars - Closer To The Edge
Joe Kaplow - I Said I Was Going And I Went
3 Sud Est - Stele (Official Video)
Guess Who - Unul Altul

I know you asked for a song, but there's so many, I love music. There's many songs I wish I could listen again for the first time. I could keep going tbh, maybe I should just make a playlist. If you absolutely had to pick one, it would be my first one though but I'd be sad to leave the others behind.

Thanks for the train :)

Know a bunch from the list! Had my (short) synthwave era, listened to every song, loved Tramontane <3

And yeah, hard to pick just one loving music, I could go on and on hahaha

I would love to listen to this music for the first time again: Angra - Late Redemption
It's just an amazing combination of Angra (my nowadays favorite metal band) and Milton Nascimento, an unbelievably good Brazilian singer!
I hope you enjoy it as well!
Thanks for the train and for the experience of listening to Dead Butterflies by Architects for the first time! :)

Certainly one of those by Leonard Cohen, hard to pick one song though. Could we settle for an album? That would be 1975 The Best of Leonard Cohen for me.

Listened to almost the whole album without noticing, enjoyed it a lot in a calm moment. His name sounded familiar, I checked and he was awarded with a national literature award here in Spain. Thanks!

Oh that is a VERY good question and honestly there's so many songs/music I could choose. At the top of my head right now, would be Alicia Keys - Diary. Song is smooth as silk.

Great selection! The guitar solo on Free Bird is something else, and Before I Forget belongs to an amazing album. Didn't expect Die Antwoord here, been a long time not hearing anything from them!

If I could listen to Liara's Song for the first time, it would mean I am finishing the Mass Effect Trilogy again, for the first time. What a ride that was!

Honorable mention:

I can't remember when I first saw the music video for it but it definitely was an experience.
It was either when we were visting friends in England in the late 70's or on german TV.

As I said in a different comment, I wish I was more "musically trained" to enjoy it and pay attention the first time I listened to it. It's super cool to ahve some memories attached to it ^^
