unpopular opinion thread

ever wanted to express an opinion on something but afraid of getting backlashed, well not here (maybe).

simple, post an opinion of yours that goes against the mainstream, not just about vydia games, but anything.

i personally think pokemon is incredibly overrated, and the franchise has been the same thing oever and over again but with more pokemons, except for X Y where they finally did a change. and yes i played it and liked it, but its not something i would get hyped so much about.

I've never understood why anime is so popular. The obsession some people have with it is just shocking. I personally find it childish, strange, perverse, and very creepy.

Well, for starters some people like childish, strange, perverse and very creepy. Some also like elements of Japanese culture. Anime covers a very broad range of genres and is not always catered to the same audience as western cartoons, which are typically addressed to children. Because of this they tend to be more varied and can bring up themes that are a no-go for western animation.

Popular where? On the internet? Ofcourse there are millions of fans on the internet but most of the people I know IRL don't watch it, they like shitty American TV shows instead, The Walking Dead, Vampire Diaries, blah blah..

I enjoy Call of Duty and BattleField, and I am going to pick up BF4 (But not ghosts, too many negative reviews)

My Little Pony, I have watched it (5 times), and it is the most overrated thing ever, it isn't really even that funny, I think people FORCE themselves to like it, which causes them to actually like it because they forced it upon themselves, so they can feel like, "IM SO COOL LOHL I WATCH A GIRLS SHOW IT MAEKS ME STAND OUT"

Apple products are bullshit (probably not an unpopular opinion here, but everywhere else it is)

Anyone who says investing in building a 400 dollar PC is better than buying a PS4 is wrong (lets not talk about the launch problems it just came out)

Skyrim and FallOut are pretty fun, but overrated still

System Shock 2 is better than any FallOut game (not sure if unpopular opinion or not)

I don't like Baldur's Gate

Redneck Rampage isn't fun except at certain points in the game

Anyone who says GTA 5 is EXTREMELY overrated is wrong, although it is just a little bit

2K are just as much money whores as EA (although I did win a 660 Ti from them once, that is because it was sponsored)

Sorry if I offend with this statement, but anyone who honestly thinks a giant floating man in the sky with a beard from a book written thousands of years ago with talking snakes and magic apples probably needs to rethink about his/her religion (not saying you should be like Atheist or something, but a religion that makes SENSE)

I don't like Assassin's Creed

Star Wars is overrated

Never seen The Godfather, but I don't want to see it either

Five Finger Death Punch is better than Avenged Sevenfold
