I do, I am French Canadian:)
Sugared almond is fascinating, I don't think we have any here - definitely something I wish to try

Sadly, I am so hard at work reducing my backlog it's not enough funny... as a total completionist I'm unwilling to move on unless I have 100% of the achievements. I've started with my consoles, and did so about three months ago. Playing at the rate time permits... I've completed 6 so far... me thinks my approach needs to discard the 100% aspect or else I won't be out of the backlog ever. Sad panda.
Oh, and FYI: Tomb Raider was one of my first to 100% after Uncharted 1-4.

Yeah someone brought it up earlier, and it was a fair point:)
I mostly meant completing stories in games. Some of the games I've 100%'d don't even have stories (;. Like Rocket League, just scoring specific types of goals, or It's Spring Again, a game for 3 years old ,where I just have to click pictures to get to 100% haha

2 hours is appealing, short and sweet, and I own it:)
I'll have to play it

I used to complete my games when I was a wee lad. Now I just like to fondle my mighty beard and stare at the sea.

Congratz!
So if you completed Oxenfree it seems that you like short games with great story. You may want to try Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons, The Deed and To the Moon, all of them are 1-3h long games and as I see you can find them in your library :)
Thanks for great gib and keep it up ;) btw - Tomb Raider is really worth of playing a little more... ;p

Thank you! I love your elf hat >smirks<
Brothers and To the moon are two games that I have and have been wanting to play, cause they look good. Maybe it will finally be the time soon :) I do enjoy short games with great stories.

Funny story, initially my elf hat was... a Santa's hat =)

It may be that for all that time I'm santa's little helper ;>

Question 1 is just me trying to have a conversation with people:)

Sometimes I feel like I spend more time on my profile than playing games :^)

I get extreme satisfaction from finishing games and I always go for that 100% completion. There are only a very few games I rage quit due to either my lack of skill which results in me not enjoying the game or game being really really bad; but again both of these scenarios very rarely happen to me.
Congratulations on your completion, I heard great things about Oxenfree. I recently bought it myself but I am keeping it as a "relax and take a breather" kind of game to play between my Dishonored 2 first and 2nd playthrough. The only thing that is slightly putting me off is unskippable dialogues and the requirement of 3 playthroughs to get 100% completion but I'll do it :)

Oh, yeah, I decided not to go for 100% in that game:)
Playing the story once is enough for me!

Harry Potter. I've read each book at least 3 times each.:)

I saw that group once, but it looked complicated and I'm lazy, so :^)

That's interesting, I rarely feel like I want to replay a game:)
I tried replaying Skyrim recently, but I didn't get into it the 2nd time around ;x

Haha, I dropped my most recent re-replay of Skyrim after 20 mins in. But then again after 300 hours, it's not surprising even for me :D
Also, it's kinda hard to get back to playing a game / reading a book after a long time in *khm* real life. And the longer I postpone it, the harder it gets. Is that what happens with you or ...? :)
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, you just kind of forget what makes the game so fun, and your mind is elsewhere ;x

Congrats! I had the same problem but started actually playing games almost a year ago and only managed to finish like 15 games in 1 year (only 1 of these is 30+ hours, 1 is 15+ hours, 4 are 10+ and the remaining are <10h so not that good of a progress. However, it was only possible thanks to BLAEO! I think you should check it out :) )

I had a roommate back then and was competing with him to discover new things whenever it was my turn on the PS3. It was super fun, and really the main reason I finished the game:)
Good luck on the special edition, spankspank!

What's my problem? D:
That just means you like exploring new ideas and opportunities, which sounds like an interesting personality in my opinion. Beats just playing one game or doing one thing constantly for years. :P
I also finished playing Oxenfree recently, damn that game was great. It had enough atmosphere to make me feel uneasy, and the ability to converse freely with NPCs was really well implemented.

That's an awesome opinion, thanks so much <3
The conversations were definitely my favorite part about the game

The voice acting and dialogues were so... I don't know. Natural? It had a certain something that other games tend to lack, maybe it's the more "casual" approach to the speech pattern. It doesn't sound like just dialogue, but more like people actually interacting with each other.

Yeah, I felt like I could relax from the spookiness and just chat with my friendly characters:) It was amazing.
It's funny because when the game starts at the boat, the voice acting feels weird, in the first 5 minutes or whatever, and I was thinking that the game would suck because of it :/. I'm not sure why. Turns out the voice acting was the strength of the game:)
Comment has been collapsed.
Hmm, strange. Maybe it's just because of how it's so different from what we expect by playing games with voice acting - it always has the same "unnatural" feel to it, while Oxenfree feels more like listening to actual people talking. It's like watching a LotR movie and the actors speak like people from the 21st century maybe. :P

Yeah that might be it, I don't know. Turns out it was great:)

I totally get that! I've been leaving more and more games unfinished, and I used to be a completionist too. For me it has something to do with the lack of time I have. I think about my backlog and I realize I've barely made a dent and probably won't ever complete it all. I just want to play all the great games!

i know this feeling - especially with TV shows i really enjoy(ed). I rarely watch the last or last two episodes....i think its kind of "avoiding that the series is over and i dont have another episode to watch - so i keep them unwatched for....well. Just in Case? i dunno. xD
But luckily i dont have this problem with games xD
(and thx for the opportunity to win this great game! Whishlist for me^^)

I was SO SAD when I finished Friends, after 10 seasons. That was the best show ever D;

Exectly - this is why i only watched S10 till episode 15, because episode 16(out of 18) is already called "The One with Rachel’s Going Away Party" - and i really dont wanted rachel to leave xD
(And yeah - im one of the people how says "How i met your mother is just a remake of friends" - but I enjoyed it too^^)
Wasn't there any "revival" "spinoff" "20 years later" friends- thingy lately?
Comment has been collapsed.
Did it ever happen? I heard about it but then I heard nothing ;x
Friends was the best. HIMYM was good too but it wasn't as excellent!

i did a quick investigative googleing (just for you! kidding. was curios as well =P)
They planned it in the first place (huge hype of fancommunity) - but due to different appointments of the actors and somer other reasons it was cancelled again (huge bummer) =(

Yesterday was a historic evening for me. I completed the game Oxenfree, which was the first game I've actually played to the end since Skyrim on the Ps3, like 5 years ago.
I've always had the habit of playing games and stopping midway to try another game... Tomb Raider, Witcher 2, Victor Vran, Pokemon X... are all games I've enjoyed but randomly ditched. Even Tales of Symphonia, one of my very favorite RPGs, I stopped right before the final boss (;.
And when I think about it, it's not only games that I don't complete. Hobbies such as singing, playing the piano, the guitar, nail art ( I mean nail polish not hammering nails to a canvas:^) ), are all skills I've picked up partly and then moved on from. What's my problem? D:
This also includes TV shows I really enjoyed, such as Gotham, Revolution, and House MD, that I randomly stopped for no reason. I'm mostly okay with books - those I usually finish, thank God (;.
Anyway, last week, I was thinking about it, and I decided to push myself to finish games that I enjoy! Perhaps start collecting achievements and perfect games sometimes too. Yesterday, I was going to try some random game, but I lit up a candle, made some tea, and forced myself to finish Oxenfree. It was awesome! The game is great ,and witnessing the ending of a game is an amazing thing!
So yeah. Watch me, because I'm on FIRE now!
Oh, and I may have a couple of games for you guys:)
Good luck!
