I'm not sure if this has been mentioned but the store discount seems to not require a continuous sub. I cancelled back in December and have now rejoined in February and suddenly have the 12 month store discount. I'm guessing it's a glitch.

How long were you a subscriber? How often do you shop in their store? Maybe they have tiers for their customers. And I can imagine that those who just occasionally take certain good bundles and leave are low priority for them. Maybe even a problem. So that's why they introduce loyalty system with discounts for maintaining subscription streak.

i'm pretty sure they categorized their buyer into several groups, but as someone who hardly bought monthly and got the coupon, i don't think the problem lies in that category.

You can't. If you gift to someone who isn't on your region, it is kinda your fault. However if they mistake some key for you (never heard of this issue before), you can open a support ticket on HB. they will revoke the last key and provide you a new one (based on latest issue with keys that didn't work for multiple reasons).

I already played Borderlands 3 with all DLC with 2 buddies on PS4 and I basically despised every second of it so I would have really hated to be stuck with this one.
The DLC are not as atrociously, insultingly bad as the base game but just because you loved Borderlands 2 you're not necessarily gonna enjoy this one.
Edit: Well, technically not all DLC just Season Pass 1 = the one that has actual content.
