So what kind of free giveaways have there been?

I caught the revenge of the titan's (from puppy's site) one, missed the faerie solitaire one by 1 day though :S (that's actually how i found this site) there's been quite a few though in the short time I've been here, are there just a lot of them recently or is this common?

Fairie Solitaire was to promote the sequel (and earn the company some bloody good PR), best as I can tell the Lucid one was an attempt to piggyback on that and Puppydog's was unrelated awesome for their birthday. Don't think we'll see many more of these.
