I will never harm someone/something and I'm pretty sure that most of you feel the same.
Video games were invented so you can do anything that makes you entertained and you won't do in real life(ex; racing,gambling,shooting,killing,etc.).
If they take away this from games, than what's the point in having video games?

And what about all the plants cruelly dismembered alive, only to be allowed to regrow and clipped again and again for your herb gardens?
Peta are hypocrites who advocate the horrible deaths of countless green and growing living things when other foods are easily available.

they arent defending pixels, they're against the idea of glorification of killing animals.
this is kind of like those losers who got all up in arms over killing russians at the start of modern warfare 2, or plastic bagging people in manhunt or any other number of games where you kill people for fun.
personally i understand their point, BUT i hate activist groups because they go the wrong way about tackling issues. i also want to know where the hell they were when far cry 3 came out, because THAT game was 100x worse in this stuff than what ac4 sounds like. I cant tell you how many rare tigers i murdered just to make myself a new wallet :D

but to help real animals you actually have to do something, its too straining, dont expect something like that...
there are so many bad things happening everyday, I just dont get it, how ppl can rage about pixes, including animals, monsters and humans. quite retarded imo...

After playing through Dishonored, I had an overwhelming urge to mass murder whales and use them as fuel, to power my dog murdering machine. Thankfully, PETA is around to inform me it's not ethical to do so. Without them, I would be a bad person.

Vegetarian here. Please don't lump us together with PETA.

PETA is against history, for some reason. We should listen to them, and delete all books, fiction and nonfiction, containing any overt or vague references to animal abuse.
You never hear about PETA sneaking cameras into a factory that makes flypaper.
PETA's invasion of the World of Warcraft! The response, one day later! The event!

PETA is one of the worst offenders when it comes to animal cruelty. And nowadays they only attack media depictions of animal cruelty.
Animal killers who condone censorship. Yea fuck those assholes.

fuck PETA! they're idiots and turn what should be a very good thing into a total joke
it is acceptable to kill any and everything by all imaginable means - it's a freaking video game...! If you can kill Santa Claus with a saw blade slinging crossbow you can certainly kill whales, club little baby seals with the fairy godmother's leg or any other damn thing
are they seriously griping about the game whale being brutalized (because that wouldn't surprise me a bit - they're lunatics) or are they just griping about portraying such a terrible act - they're still idiots

I see more human cruelty than animal cruelty in video games.

As an animal lover, everything should be allowed to be killed in games including babies and children. None of it is real. I'm the first to jump on the kill kids mod for bethesda games. lol. IRL, I adore children.

PETA have slammed the inclusion of whaling in Assassins Creed IV.
Obviously this isn't the sort of acceptable whaling that goes on nowadays (solely for scientific research), but the mean 18th century sort, that was all about cruelty and making money.
Where should the line of acceptability be drawn in games? Is it acceptable to kill rats? Or whales? Or civilians in an airport?
