a bit longer: they don't allow for people to be human and make mistake. don't get me wrong, i check my winners using sgtools. but SUPPORT decide if they already "served" their time or not. where in sgtools it doesn't work like that.

so, i'm on a one man crusade against them. well, there are a few others who don't make sgtools ga. i think i'm the only one who abstain from them completely.
it's easy for me, since i rarely enter anyway. still

If you are talking about not activated and duplicate wins they are just boxes,one might or might not tick them on their free will.
I've used to tick Vac Ban box as well but some people who had like 5 or 10 years old vac bans ( still vac ban then you think about it,they did cheat ) couldnt enter and that seemed a bit harsh so i'm leaving that one unchecked these days.

I think ticking those 2 boxes is quite fair. Especially then dealing with public giveaways ( in this case by public i mean posting it on forums or such ) . Maybe 1 out of 10,000 people really regret his double win or not activated key but if he really does he can fix that :)

There are custom rules as well which is great as well thou i must admit i'm too lazy to write them.

Ratios and such just let people customize their giveaways. This one is supposed to be for generous people with good ratio and using sgtools is really best option for reaching those people.

Anyway. :) sgtools is well ...just a tool:) It's up to a person how they will use it,

There are accounts that I have seen that have been purchased from someone else and it had a VAC Ban from the previous owner. I'm not sure why they would want to buy the account, but perhaps it was a good price and had a bunch of games (and a half-decent Level?) on the account already?

never said it wasn't. hence i can choose to not enter ;)

this is not about regret. this is about laws. you use sgtools to enforce the rules of the site. people who overlooked the rules (mistake or not, doesn't matter) were punished by the rules (yes, i agree 3 day suspension is utter bollocks, but it's the rules). the sgtools filter keeps those out.

some RL example (over kill i know): you cannot know if someone has a criminal record or not. would you make a place that doesn't allow people who have offenses enter? where is the limit.

if it's a repeated offender, and you catch him with reroll ticket he will and does get a perma suspension.
i'm saying there are more "SG humane" ways to do this, even if it makes you submit a reroll ticket.
back to RL: this someone would go to jail. lifetime, or not, depends on the felony.
we are not to decide that.
