Baldur's gate 3 of course. Or darkest dungeon 2.
But there's so many metroidvania hidden gem, I discover lot of them here to add to my whishlist. Lots of them seems to be unnoticed.
Rogue legacy 2, valdis story, afterimage, yohanne, timespinner, lodoss war deedlit, astalon, elderand, wonder boy etc...
So many of them looks really good ! It's a shame that so many disappear without being recognized.
The same with dungeon crawler, beside the classics Grimrock 1 and 2, it's so sad thats it become a niche genre only for old gamer like me ^^

steamgifts is hands down the best place to find a trillion games to stock up your wishlist with!
did not know of the majority of the ones you listed but i took a bit to look into them to understand further why these and i gotta say; rogue legacy 2 looks adorably fun. valdis story made me genuinely gasp, jaw dropped in awe of how breathtaking its graphics and characters are. afterimage ive seen a couple times though never realized just how much of a must-play it is.
yohanne is going onto my wishlist (same with rogue legacy 2) cause LOOK AT IT? its perfect.
timespinner, lodoss war deedlit, astalon, elderand, wonder boy, and the others stated are treasures too.

I'm not the best person to explain something but i'll give my best xD
I love crpgs and turn based combat games and most of this games are in that category, BG3, Rogue Trader, Wasteland 3, Colony Ship are the ones that most fit in that description, Wartales and Jagged Alliance 3 are slightly different but have turn based combat, i like games with good stories and good gameplay and from what i've seen they all have that.
As for the others Farthest Frontier is a game from the devs of Grim Dawn (another amazing game and to me it's better than Diablo 3 and 4) they put a lot of love in their games (just like Larian) and they listen to the gamers, just an example Grim Dawn released in 2016 and it's still receiving improvements :) as for Farthest Frontier it's a city builder/survival game, like banished and so many others, sometimes i like to play something different and city builders are relaxing and as i trust Crate Entertainment i know that this is going to be an amazing game (already is but it's in early acess for now) if they are still working no Grim Dawn after 7 years i have no doubt that they will do the same with this.
Mind Over Magic is something different but is addictive like hell xD i played the demo a couple of months ago and got immediately hooked, i've heard people saying it's "Rimworld mixed with Harry Potter" some compare it to Oxygen not Included, for me it's a fun addictive game :) if you like games that you have to be farming stuff to have components, have research trees and like magic this is the game, i understand the comparisons with Rimworld and i can say they are both addictive with this one being side scrolling and with better graphics.

i like games with good stories and good gameplay and from what i've seen they all have that.
essential for these kinds of games and many genres, its not the same experience in enjoyment if one department is lacking although it can be passable.

Grim Dawn is an amazing game, you have 9 classes (with the expansions) and you can (you should) dual class so you can make a lot of different builds and they have a devotion skill tree besides the individual skill trees from each class. A month ago they released a patch with 9GB where they added a dodge button and more stuff, in 2024 they will release another expansion which will add a lot more content so yeah, there's a lot to do in the game.

The dream giveaway happened years ago during Steam's Winter Sale of 2009(?) where each purchase got you a free gift that could be anything, and one of those gifts was the COMPLETE Collection of all games on Steam!
But the game i'd play the most, as i have tried it a bit, but only seen a small portion of the near infinite mods for it on Twitch... would be Rimworld, complete with it's DLCs,,, can't wait to see what Tynan's next DLC will be.
I'm also eyeballing Quasimorph after seeing a stream of it, and the recent game awards showcased a half dozen games i'm quite excited for.

For some reason I think I would enjoy Days Gone, although I usually play short story driven narrative games of the cozy sort. It has bikers, and zombies, and sexy men.. eh, yeah. And then there's The Last of Us. More zombies - usually I'm not that big on zombies, but the story seems oddly appealing to me. I guess it's the Walkig Dead vibes I'm getting from it. And last but not least, Kena: Bridge of Spirits. It tickles all my female heroine in a cute world buttons. Still hoping for Days Gone to be one of the Epic freebies this year ;P

i really like tiana and mulan 🐸 those movies were the most inspirational and memorable for me.

Are you sending a key or a gift? If it is a key you can just send it on sg. If it is a gift try contacting them through sg instead. Replying on one of their giveaways or discussion threads should work fine. If they dont respond even after all that, request a reroll after 7 days have passed. You own the right by then since they dont respond :)

Welcome to the most antisocial giveaway site I have ever seen, where it is considered impolite to contact anyone in less than 7 days from giveaway ending. This is to allow plenty of time for bot users to tally up all their wins and actually visit the site. And if you bring it up people will chastise and blacklist you. But really you have to wait full 7 days no matter what is going on and then request the new winner. This is why a lot of users do only whitelist/group/invite only giveaways. Less chance of bad result.

You can and should because apparently some mods interpret the 7 day thing starting from when you contact the winner. So that could potentially end up 2 weeks or more. Anyway you could receive backlash as what happened here, and I also got chewed out and blocked by a few people contacting them day after win. I just do whitelist and group giveaways now, don't have to message or email anyone. Everyone has claimed their win within a few hours.

Strangely last time i had this issue the mod who handled my case just asked me proof for contacting winner and i told them i sent the key on sg and told that they were online all day (meaning that it is impossible for them not to notice that they won) and i still got my giveaway rerolled right away. I guess im quite lucky back then.
And i dont see why winners would chew you out just because you told them that they win a giveaway and that tthey should activate it right away tbh. I guess it is their loss, them blocking you worked out against them since they wont be able to see your ga after all, and it is less hassle from your end (since you wont have to deal with them again) :)

There is nothing wrong with doing public giveaways. What you should avoid are Steam gifts instead of keys, these are the real problem.
And if you had no other choice, a higher level or invite only might have reduced the potential risks.
Don't worry too much about this case. Somehow you'll get it sorted out. In the very worst case you'd end up with a red flag for a not delivered giveaway, which doesn't mean much.

shady part of me is given out pretty solidly so keep your fingers crossed. would love for you to get to experience it since it gives off the little nightmares vibes and feel with atmosphere and gameplay. the puzzles were enjoyable and if you enjoy collecting stuff in a challenging way as you go along in the story there's that too, although optional.
