Ex game hoarder here, and have recently started taking advantage of the removing games from library feature. Basically removing games I did not like, or had no interest in, but got for free or through bundles. However, I realized that 2-3 games I had removed that I absolutely did not like unfortunately were steamgifts wins. (Sorry giveaway maker! It's been over a year and I didn't like those games at all)
Will this negatively affect my Steamgifts profile now? I haven't won a whole lot, but I did for the most part give the games a shot, but just wasn't a fan. I'm hoping this won't affect any of my previous wins or future wins.
What are your thoughts on the removal system on steam?

Giveaway Lvl 2

Edit: Thanks for the help, fixed the games I removed and got them back!

Yes. It's against the rules not to have games you won in your account. Go return them. It's easy.

Could you tell me how to do that?

Go here: https://help.steampowered.com/en/wizard/HelpWithGame/

Search for the games you removed and restore them.

No problem. I'd recommend you to hide the trashy games in the library instead of deleting them. In any case, you can always restore them using that method.

Do you happen to know if hidden games are detected by SGTools?

Yes, the Steam API still reports them even if they're hidden.

I saw jiggakills already answered your question. Technically, when you hide a game it stays in your account. The games in your account are listed here: https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/

You can check it yourself hiding a game and then checking that list. If the game is in that list, SG Tools will detect it.

Never did it, but you're not the first who had this problem and people gave instructions. I think you go to help and select the game and click "it's not in my library" and you get it back. Something like that. Search the forums for more info, or wait a bit and someone will tell you.
