There is a common "western" mistake which appeared in the puzzle. Christmas are celebrated normally everywhere. I can explain further once the giveaways are done.

Well, if you mean that "internaly" Christmas is celebrated on the 25th everywhere, it's true indeed. Yet as the puzzle has to address a a large population adhering to a certain tradition for them the "internal" reference would be alien and fairly meaningless (and the question would be quite impossible to ask at all), so it's rather a result of the relative effects rather a misconception.
