DAO is one of the best RPG ever. Don't have it on steam, but i played main story from begging to end titles twice.

I was taking a walk later today with a good friend of mine in the woods and we were talking deep and helpful stuff, she gave me good advice. Her dog came along with us, made a poo somewhere, we walked for an hour and on our way back I stepped right into that pile of poo while admiring some tree shrooms. Foxy luck, eh?! ;)

Haha no, not about that. My experience on the internet and gaming in general has led me to notice that 2 things often happen when gamers reveal themselves to be female: Showered with attention or Buggered to prove they are women & bothered more when they do. I think a lot want to avoid the latter when they just want to play games. I think the site has a good environment since I haven't seen a lot of the latter.

Skimming through this I am surprised by how many people have NOT played DA:O especially since it is kinda oldish now and most people should have had the chance to get their hands on it. I liked the expansion too although some things in it made me chuckle. I think I played about 50 hours the main campaign?

Indeed, although I preferred DA2 for one reason alone, Fenris. It had nothing to do with his smoldering green eyes and Gideon Emery's amazing deep voice, no. >> I played it three times (one for each main class) and tried to romance Anders with my mage to see what that route is like, but I kept looking at Fenris and was actually having a hard time to stick with it (I made it by swapping saves often, going back and forth between my Fenris romancing berserker and the Anders romancing mage :P).

Dragon age is indeed awesome! I already have it for PS3 (and I've beaten it 19 times, i love it) but thank you for contribution such a quality game to the steamgifts community =P

Origins is my favorite probably. Inquisition is a close second. 2 was great as well, failed a bit because of EA, but the lore is still paramount as it being the prequel to the 100 hours that is Inquisition. =)

Awakening in my opinion is very important (But definitely not required) as it reveals a huge part of the lore that leads up to a different expansion in DA2, and eventually a major part in Inquisition.
