Where does Solid Snake hide his Stinger / Javelin and all of the ammo (~12 shots)? How does he conceal these while carrying a PSG1 and (sometimes) a PSG1-T?
Even if he did find a way, how would he still be so sneaky?

Why is there never a time in any games (except in the Sims) where the characters have to use the bathroom? How bad do they all smell is they never take showers?

I think you need a "modified heart" first (as shown in the MTM video) - and who should perform the surgery on him? Archimedes?

Try shooting yourself with large, long-barrelled weapon. Now try doing it in the heat of battle.

Why does the entire Belmont clan like to eat random pot roasts they found hidden in walls that are possibly decades, or even centuries old.

The same can be said for Left 4 Dead. As long as someone picks you up, you can shrug off that zombie horde / tank punch, or that car that just flew on top of you / through you.

OP's question: Why does Donkey Kong wear a tie but no pants?
Answer: I think the reason was releasing Donkey Kong Country on SNES - basically to save space in cartridge (the first limits were 16 MB of space). It is better (for space usage) to break sprite into body parts sprite and change (for example) only head body sprite than putting a whole new sprite where the only changed thing is character's hair. Somewhat related: Why does Yogi Bear have a tie and collar.

Oh wow. I never thought this thread would become educational, but this was actually really interesting.
Maybe that's why they started doing it, though the first few DK games (Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., and Donkey Kong 3, he never wore a tie. Perhaps to be adding it when they wanted him to start doing more than throwing barrels.

How is it that Urdnot Grunt can be an indestructible ball of rage and demolition while you can see him, but if you send him off with another squad, he complains of a single bullet hole before bleeding out?

This one's not completely video game related, but how come Pokemon can't die (except Charmander when his tail flame goes out apparently)?
In the Pokemon anime (maybe the game too, don't remember), they eat meat...but there are no animals...

Why does Freeman's stamina go down if he uses the flashlight? (Half life 2)
Why does Max Payne always switches to pistol when entering a room full of bad guys? (Max Payne 3)

And this is why we game on PC! The "duct-tape" mod added a flashlight to almost all weapons. Thus named because, well, "on the whole of Mars, there isn't a single roll of duct-tape?"

Gary fights with a Rattata, and eventually a Raticate. Up until you meet him in Lavender Tower, the graveyard of Pokemon. Henceforth, he never uses Raticate. Have you ever wondered why?

Well lets think about this.
1.) There are people that buy used underwear, either that be famous person's or otherwise. Japan comes to mind here.
2.) In a world where manufacturing of goods is eventually gone, large farms that once grew soft cotton or factories that once harvest silk are no more. The price for a decent pair of undergarments is sure to be exorbit IF you could find a pair, used or otherwise.
3.) All the above aside, perhaps the protagonist is a germaphob and thus isnt up for taking dead peoples underwear...
4.) This

How does every single protagonist in every video game have a carrying capacity 1000x that of reality?

Or if they do have a realistic carrying capacity, why is that all items occupy rectangular blocks in their inventory, which is a rectangular grid?

What is the true reason for females in fighting titles to wear revealing outfits? Does it prevent any hindering of movement as they attack and defend? Or does it serve as a distraction?
Why is it so easy for the supporting cast in RPGs to notice the budding romance between the main male and female character; yet, those same main characters never see it?
Not to mention that I always wondered exactly how monsters/enemies respawn so quickly when you leave an area and then return. I mean, does this mean that you didn't really kill them or they were just holograms?

But its the same weight on link regardless of where the weight is distributed on Link. I'm not concerned with how easy it is to carry it, I'm concerned about how it affects his presence in water.

Why are Link's iron boots only heavy when they're on his feet?
Why does Donkey Kong wear a tie but no pants? (Potentially resolved by MrAmPm with a yogi bear analogy)
Post any oddities or things you thought were a tad bizarre when playing video games. I find it fun to point these out in a very not serious manner.
Bonus points if others have played said game and not noticed!
