Would you steal a loaf of bread to feed your family? Would you admonish another who chooses to do the opposite?
Yes I would. Even if I get caught, the news would be so big that someone would noticed it and offered a help to my family when I get sentenced. I would not admonish those with different opinion as they might have another reason to and how to feed his family. Well, that's the plan at least :P

Holyshi* huh . Here is my answer ;
I saw something like that in the news a while ago : men breaks the glass of pharmacy in order to take the medicine he can't afford or just because pharmacy is closed in the night(I can't remember clearly but the point stands) Only to save the person he loves(family) he stole something.
I actually see nothing wrong with it.I would definetly do the same and yes I will try to save another's goddamn family.
They are your family and they are the most important things in your life(or should be).
PS:I actually wonder how you guys respond to your own questions?

I don't like these sorts of 'vacuum' dilemmas. Artificially waving away cause and consequence from a scenario saps it of all context. Without context it's impossible to make real value judgements.
Why am I so desperate? Can't I find honest work? Can't I survive by other means? Is the price of bread unattainably high? Why so? Why bread to begin with? How does this one loaf of bread solve my plight? Would I get caught? Who would I be stealing from? What's their situation? Can I compensate them at a later time, and would they accept that compensation? The acceptability of the theft depends so much on the answers to these questions and more.
Taking the question as-is, I do believe in the right to own property and not have it taken from you, so I do think theft is wrong. But the right to seek survival trumps every other. So yes, I would steal that bread. Without hesitation or guilt. And I wouldn't blame another party for doing so, though if I was the victim I would still desire some form of compensation for my loss. I would question what forced me into such a corner in the first place however. What is keeping me from pursuing more constructive means of acquiring what I need? And if my possibilities are indeed being artificially restricted, shouldn't blame and accountability be held against whatever is forcing my hands, and not myself?

If I thought i could easily get away with it then I would, however I would be somewhat hesitant because what if i got caught and was sent to jail (I know its unlikely that you would be sent to jail for stealing a loaf of bread, in america at least). If I was in jail then I wouldn't be able to help my family at all.
I wouldn't care what someone else does, although they should do what they can to feed their family.

I would help keep my family alive and admonish others who would let their family starve

Being honest, I would talk to do some work for money to get food. Yeah, there is still nice people around that would be willing to assing you some task for money. And no matter what's for you are stealing something, according to laws, steal is a felony. But in the end, penalty would be determined after all facts are widely know.

Who would not do it? I and my family are the ones starving, not the one who made/is selling the bread.

To me, life is about living, so I would do what I can to live and keep my family alive. I wouldn't necessarily criticize an opposing thinker, but I would question them if they realize the consequences and if they still want to make the same choice.

If there is absolutely no alternatives to stealing food to feed your own family, I don't see why anyone would choose to let them starve. Welfare of family comes first to me.
Not sure if I would admonish someone else who would choose to let them and their own family starve. Depends on who they are and what kind of relationship they have with me.
If they're strangers or people that I am not close to, I wouldn't care what they do because I'm too preoccupied with getting enough food for my family. But if they're family members/friends that I do care about, I will try to talk to them to help me get food. I'd still try get food for them if they don't agree to help. If they do agree, we'd work as a team :)

In the most dire of circumstances,
Would you steal a loaf of bread to feed your family? Would you admonish another who chooses to do the opposite?
Either thieve to feed, or starve-- there are no alternatives.
