Years ago I might have said "no" and thought it was being honest. However since having a daughter, who is now 5, I can't say that. There is very little I wouldn't do to protect her. In the grand scheme, stealing bread is pretty low on the totem pole, so yes, I would.
However I doubt I'd admonish someone for choosing the opposite. It's their choice based on their own morality, and I don't have the level of hubris required to think I am so objectively correct that I have the right to judge them.
If a child was involved however, I can't say that I wouldn't simply make the choice for the child and ensure it is fed and protected, simply because: while I respect the right of the adults to choose, I also flatly refuse to sit and watch a child suffer because of it's parents choices if I can actually do something about it. The parents right to be parents and have their choices stand ends, in my opinion, when it risks the child's survival in an obvious and tangible way. You can argue endlessly about possible psychological trauma risks, but there is no argument that starving will result in death.

I would not. All though I most dearly require it to live, the person I'm taking it from may need it as well. And if I had taken something of great importance for my own good needs, I wouldn't be able to live with myself. Also, if I did see someone steal a loaf of bread, or they took it from me, I would most likely attempt to retrieve it, and punish them for doing so. Asking is an option.

Under dire circumstances I would steal a loaf of bread. But really why was bread the choice? =/
If I knew the circumstances I would probably be okay with someone stealing but if it was stolen from me I don't know if I would have the same reaction.

Of course I would. I value life higher than loaf.
Maybe I might feel little guilty and plan to make things right one day but in the moment when starvation is a case I would have no doubts.
And another yes - I would advice others to make the same conclusion.

In the most dire of circumstances I would probably steal the loaf of bread, depending on which country I'm in. But only if all other possible options were considered and tried. (and only from the rich, who can do without) Interesting question btw. Food for thought.

I would starve and not admonish another's choices if thats what they gotta do then thats what they got to do but I am not sinking that low to get a loaf of bread I'd rather die because if I decide to become a thief regardless of it being for a good purpose that is all my life would amount to and I don't think I like that too much.

I suppose if it was death or stealing I would steal. I wouldn't admonish others for not stealing though.

I would steal, but I would not judge anyone for choosing differently.

I'd steal a loaf of bread to feed my family. I wouldn't break into someone's house or steal a car or anything else of real value. There's a difference in slightly crossing the line and sacrificing your morals and doing something you regret for the rest of your life. I'd try not to judge anyone else in the same situation.

In a situation like this, I would steal.
Bot not from a poor one, NO!I would steal from someone who has too much, and who refuses to help the poor.
And if I get caugh tafter, I would prefer to lose one finger for stealing, knowing that my family is feed!

If it's a matter of Survival, of course I would do it. The only way that I would even hesitate, would be if I was stealing from someone else who would/could go hungry. Then, I would to feed my family, but if it was just me, I wouldn't.
(Plus, I know it's not the point, but you can always find food in the woods, if you know how to look, lol!)
And as for admonishing others, for choosing the opposite...I'd say that I probably would, once again, only if it's not going to make someone else starve, because that I would understand.

In the most dire of circumstances,
Would you steal a loaf of bread to feed your family? Would you admonish another who chooses to do the opposite?
Either thieve to feed, or starve-- there are no alternatives.
