You hit things, they die. You shoot things, they die. You complete missions, you get rewards.

Yeah, it gets really repetitive after playing for a while.

Repetitive? The levels change every time you go in if you play Arcade Mode, try that maybe?

I meant the gameplay feels repetitive. It doesn't matter if the levels are different if you're doing the same hack n' slash stuff over and over again.

yup the gameplay is meh and its pay 2 win

Permalink

not really pay to win, it's more of pay to be lazy and do absolutely nothing to progress.

It doesn't really get repetitive as you progress, you do slowly get more and more types of enemies, different numbers, different locations and that adds more difficulty depending on the location of the battle

Yeah I like spiral kniths, but it's getting boring a lil' too fast :D

If the game wasn't so childish looking and not filled with 8yr olds (either actual 8 year olds or 28 year olds who haven't matured past that point) it probably would have been fun...

...Aside from the fact that you're limited to something like 1hr of play/day (Free) and some days you can't actually DO anything because crafting or upgrading (or whatever) uses the same 'energy' that is used to play the game.

Actually, you can trade in-game currency for energy that others bought. The price is pretty steep though. Nearly 9k crowns for 100 CE (Not to be confused with the daily energy which is on a serrate counter)

It was a fun game for awhile. It's not too deep as far as story, but they've added a bit more recently. There are a lot of different weapons and armor to craft and try out, plus a lot of cosmetic options to customize your character. The levels get kind of repetitive after awhile, but not entirely to the point of being unfun.

It seems to cost a bit too much to play, to me, for what it is. This is assuming that you want to play more than what the basic 100 energy per day will get you, and want to be able to craft new items in a reasonable amount of time (at the current rate of exchange, I would guess you can earn between 100 and 200 energy through grinding for crowns and then trading).

If you DO like it and plan to play a lot, I suggest an elevator pass, at least for the first month or two, so that you can build up a good armory and get experience with the game. Then you hopefully will be ready to generate the 100-200 energy I referenced above.

I like it, aside from how slow it is to accumulate wealth without paying real money.

No. Too much grind/or pay

A little effort's too hard for you to handle? Unless you enjoy games where you instantly win EVERYTHING there is no real point of complaining...

It's a pay to win, I played it for the coal last year.

That's the worst thing. When it first came to steam it wasn't pay to win. I have/had the best armors and weapons without paying anything, hell I had 2/3 sets. I did drop $10 about 180 hours in, once for a cool cosmetic item, but that was it. Now it seems a lot of good stuff is locked away and they'll just adding more and more making it hard not to pay.

Not necessarily a Pay To Win sort of game, people just cannot take the time to work for the better weapons...

Unless you play at least 1-2 hours of this game you really are wasting my time, people who play at the start just go "THIS GAME HAS TERRIBLE GRAPHICS AND LOOKS LIKE A BABY GAME AND PROBABLY HAS BABIES IN IT!" for the former, you people are just reality freaks who only play games that have call of duty style graphics and game play and for the latter this game is a 13+ in case you haven't noticed so just report underage children, not to mention you can't judge people's age by their brain size, like the guy who posted the first comment for example.....

It was a lot more fun until they added keys and boxes and just more way to make you pay. The PvP really didn't help/add much unless it changed alot since I stopped. If you play the market and have 3+ good friends it's a nice game. If you're gonna solo it or worst yet, play with randoms. I wouldn't give it the time. I finished everything but the fire boss, can't remember his name lord something. It was fun, but I don't ever see myself going back now.

Usually the idea is to trade boxes with the RICH people to get some money off of them and the PvP was to get "Krogmo coins" to buy recipes for special sorts of weapons or just to have general fun fighting other player. And hey, at least it's not runescape...

Most of you have commented that it is a Pay To Win game. Well most of you seem to be referring to one point where gear begins to cost 200 energy. In that point most of you just noticed the shop where you can buy energy with real money and in large quantities. Well you clearly didn't notice the crowns (in-game currency) to energy and vice-versa exchange. This game can be beaten 100% Free To Play but if you gave 2-4 hours a day it would take approx. 6 months but it's all worth it when you look back on the fun aspects of the game.

I played t but it doesn't have this something what makes you "You must play that" I don't recomend that game. That freaking Cristal Energy price in Crowns is freaking high. As I played that were about 8,5k Crowns.

You can blame the community for crystal energy prices, once started as 1,000 crowns but that got too easy and cheap so people slowly raised the price, right now its roughly 8,500 crowns which is overdoing it but the community could fix it if everyone just put up low prices on the market at the same time, but i don't believe in miracles very well so don't get ur hopes up.

Played it for a bit when it was first out in Steam. Had fun with it but eventually got boring. I should try to convert my 170k+ crowns to CE and trade for TF2 metal/keys. I didn't touch the game for a year.

I like it, but I do my best to avoid getting roped into F2P systems, so when I got to working on 3 star items the game got extremely grindy for someone who is on a completely free account, coupled with the fact I could only play for about an hour until I couldn't afford to use the elevator anymore. Until that time, it was fun though, and I really like the level designs :>
