Shogun 2, bought it on release day and was what got me into steam. Well it was retail so Terraria was truely the first game I bught on the steam platform, full priced too, a week before my first summer sale D:

Theres already a thread about that.. anyway, it was CS pack (bought it for CS:S; but I should've buy only CS:S)

Left 4 Dead 2, got into steam so I could play with my friends

Well I got my Steam back in 2004 with the release of Half Life 2 and then later got CS 1.6 but the first actual Steam-Store purchase must have been Portal.

Looks like Sword of the Stars II was the first purchase from Steam, first game activated on it though was Dawn of War II (I think)
