I am taking a break from SG

Sorry to see you go. Clearly you are an asset to this community that needs more people like you and not less. But you must do as you think best, so I wish you well and hope you return.

Why you should leave just because someone doesn't love you?

Stay here or leave, up to you. But don't decide because of someone else. Do it if YOU want it.

I will miss you. I wish you wouldn't leave, but you know what is best for you right now. Godspeed, best wishes, and take care. I hope you can someday find your way back to us and find what you most long for in life, even if you don't even know yet what that is!

I would try and ignore the haters myself, not bother about making them happy, but I know it is not always possible to do this. Hey, when you decide to return--even if you never made another giveaway--you will be welcomed back with open arms.

When I am down I personally find that listening to various Old Time Radioshows (OTR) (essentially similar-to-but-not podcasts) helps, especially comedy. Often, I find that after listening to an episode or two of the Jack Benny Show, Fibber McGee & Molly, the Birds Eye Open House or other shows (all of which are in the public domain and can be found for free on archive.org) my mood is a lot better and I can again face life with a smile.

Sad to see you go, but you have to do what feels right to you. Hope to see you back here one day. Take care, Neko. 💙

This is always depressing seeing someone like you upset at SG and potentially leaving for good. I really hope you find more joy on here and I hope you start entering more giveaways and stop worrying about the few who may dislike you.

Know how Depression can be a downer.
Took my time of here myself, take your time as well. Shifting your focus from time to time helps. And a little bit more free time probably as well ;)

I totally understand your feelings, there is definitely some toxicity here and taking a break or leaving could be the right decision.

That said, I've always appreciated your posts and your giveaways, and I know many others of us do too. It's always a shame to see one of the good ones leave, and I do hope you come back, but I wish the best to you either way =D

Understandable to want to step away from certain communities at times. I myself am barely active anymore around SG, but I still lurk here and there, dropping a comment when I feel I really want to. I'm sorry to hear you've felt unwelcome in the community - Sadly the more undesirable people are often the noisiest, which makes it appear as a majority (but look at all the support in this thread!)

I've appreciated the time you were here, and regardless if you decide to come back or not, I wish you the best in any of your future endeavors - Hopefully you'll step away from SG without too much of a sour taste in your mouth. ^^

You are on my whitelist. And it is not that easy to get there. Thank you for being part of this community :) I hope everything settles down, you are still much than a welcome and loved here.
However it is true that you can't be liked by everybody and there is alway going to be someone who will not like you no mattre what you do and how kind you will be to them. You are still going to be a "villain" in their life. But you should not be affected by them and their words, rumors etc. It is better for you to focus on those who likes and loves you, otherwise you may fall into depression. Trust me, been there.

I wish you all good and I really hope to see you back here again. Maybe not as a contributor, but as a member of our beautiful community we have created. Sure there are some rotten people here as well, but those few bad seeds are not shaping us. We may be different in many things but there is one thing that connects all of us here: Videogames.

And if you decide this is yyour last giveaway and you are not ever returning back to SG, you will be missed dearly. As a member and as a friend. But I can't tell you what to do! The most important thing is to be happy in this world, in your lifetime. You most possibly have only one run here, we don't know about respawns, so make it the best run you can make it out of and make yourself happy!

We love you and wish you a pleasant life however you choose :)
