A Potato is a vegetable, except on the forums here. On steamgifts, people are not referring to the vegetable, but using it as a replacement for another word. It is like a friend that doesn't want to use a curse word and just using another word in its place. You can often find it in a poll that has yes, no or maybe. It would replace the "maybe" or sometimes the "other" option.
