well, i read it on DbD leaks i think and they're quite well informed, so i rather bet on original killer. You can think otherwise, but don't be disappointed later

Why not? it's quite important to have all the perks
it's not important at all, because most aren't meta or suit your playstyle, that's why i think your tips of plain prestiging are shallow and not helpful at all. Prestige 6 for killer also makes no sense, i wrote the same stuff just last time and idk what your issues are, especially with your hours played; idk, if you idled them, because your tips are like having no clue of the game

FYI, the person that usually announces leaks has decided to quit after the most recent Leatherface delisting rumor was proven to be false, so we may see leaks less frequently or none at all. I believe he had an inside source that kept getting less and less accurate the past several months. I'm only mentioning this here because there were a few people that brought up leaks recently.
Some examples of what I'm talking about:
Stranger Things was rumored to be coming back and a new chapter in development. Neither happened, but there was an updated Hawkins map with real footage that seemed legit, so it's possible it was planned to come back but got cancelled. This was a fairly huge rumor and got people pretty hyped up.
The most recent chapter (with the Knight) was said to be a "For Honor" chapter.. which didn't happen, but the leak did say there'd be a knight so that ended up being true.
There were alternate names for Leatherfaces perks found in the PTB which led to the rumor about Leatherface being delisted, but that came directly from the game files so it could've been misinterpreted by anyone. I think it's possible BHVR wasn't sure if they could renew the license in time so they may have changed perk names in case they lost the license, but that's just a guess. It's been officially confirmed he won't be leaving the game anyway
We'll probably still get datamine leaks (stuff that's directly taken from the game files, usually from PTBs), but not as many leaks from the inside source

New patch is out, and Lunar event has started! (Bonus bp from event games ie hooks, red packets, lanterns, event items in bloodweb)
Edit 2: Login for 50k bp, use a red packet offering (get it in bloodweb) and if it gets collected by someone else in game, you get 1 random cosmetic per game. 10 to collect.
Edit: Event tome with more cosmetics etc begins tomorrow.

That tweet is a little confusing, but I think the tweet is saying that the event starts at 1 pm ET instead of 11 am ET. Was always planned for the 24th but either the time got delayed a bit, or they mistakenly announced 11 am originally.
The event starting at 1 pm threw me off at first because every other event or release has started at 11 am. This is the first time I've seen any start at 1

They retain players if they keep releasing DLC and cosmetics. I think they're worried that if they focus on balance and bugs over DLC then they'll lose too many players which ultimately costs them money.. which is why they keep pumping out DLC on a fixed schedule (every 3 months).
I don't agree with their strategy, but it's probably why they do it. Anyway, I'm guessing this DLC is original and not licensed? Seems interesting but can't really tell much from the teaser other than it maybe being focused on cybernetics.

Massive profits from selling useless skins, besides I often see New players buying the latest skins to show off and thinking they are EPIC :D ( as long they enjoy it, it doesn`t matter what other thinks anyways)

The game was losing playerbase since the first Resident Evil DLC. The game's code is a mess, original devs are no more working in DBD, probably not even in BHVR. New devs have no idea how to fix issues and whenever they add anything new bugs appear. They need to keep releasing DLCs or the game will die.
They're focused, solely, on attract new players and sell cosmetics. The only reason a second Resident Evil DLC was to attract new players and retain veteran ones. DBD is not a friendly game for noobs, everything is a mess, is bad explained and is hard to master, new players play for some hours and never come back.
They've learnt, they need new DLCs to survive. If they do a "health" patch, DBD will finally die.
