Don't know if this is goofy, but Starbucks isn't just a simple coffee brand, it's actually also secretly a massive bank. I suggest watching this video on it from ColdFusion https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSuByDys44M

Did you know that Manitoba's population density is 1.9 people per square kilometer? Isn't that stupid?

Having pedantically corrected someone in this thread I guess I should add a goofy fact of my own: I have entered exactly 5555 giveaways and will never enter any more, so I don't need to be added to your wishlist, and this post is completely superfluous.

OK, that's lame, how about a real one: there is a genus of spiders called Nops, but none of those occur in Chile, so scientists have creatively named some new species in the same family that do occur in Chile Notnops, Taintnops and Tisentnops.

The UK versions of FIFA 2001 and Gran Turismo 2 shipped with the peculiar idea of “scratch and sniff” discs. If you scratched FIFA’s disc, you would “smell the pitch.” Rubbing Gran Turismo 2’s disc would deliver an “authentic pit-stop smell.”

The reason why there are patty cake segments in the Super Mario Bros Super Show is because it references the Road To... series starring Bing Crosby and Bob Hope, of which there is 7 movies. When they were threatened by a group of men, they resorted to patty cake and surprised everyone, knocking them out. Short fat guy and tall thin man, enemies defeated rather quickly in a hopeless battle.

Sanction also means its exact opposite. So, you can say: I think France should sanction Germany without getting into drawn into a heated discussion; Hmm. Or, maybe you would just piss everyone off.

Australia is home to the largest wild population of camels in the world! They're not native to the land but took to the climate immediately when they were introduced in the 1800's and now almost all of the camels in Saudi Arabia are imports from Australia.
