Well, I've had this bookmarked for a week already so maaaaaybe I should actually say something before you guys decide you have enough people and close the thread or something.
Soo... I probably wouldn't go to the chat much because antisocial; and I don't make all that many giveaways nowadays because of... reasons; and I don't enter much either; and... 10 minutes later... and I'm kind of a sarcastic jerk a lot of the time; and my sense of humor is pretty terrible; and... wait, what was I talking about again?
Ah, right- anyway, I like the idea and would like to apply to join (if it's ok of course...). :D
(I know there are also the other groups based around the same idea but so far it sounds like this one strikes a nice middle ground between the two. Plus you can never have too many of these. ^_^' )
Oh, yeah, while I'm here- how am coming up on Kelnage's script? (I'd check myself but I'd rather not have a quick way of checking other people since the results tend to be too depressing. :/ )

Can I join?
My favorite and only SG win is Hurtworld, I had my eye on it for a long time and was thinking about buying it a while ago. It got overshadowed a lot by other games over the months until I saw it pop up as a giveaway. So I thought why not try to win it, and a few hours later, I was playing it :D.

Yes, you can say so - information isn't conclusive for us even to consider the minimal requirements passed or failed.
This little information visible on your accounts is either not cogent enough (which partly doesn't depend on you), or not affirmative and decisive for our team to see your approach to playing wins as one close to the group spirit and standards.
Let this not discourage you from winning and enjoying more games!

Applying to the group
My favorite win is Shadowrun: Dragonfall. Didn't expect something amazing from this game, just heard it's good.It was good in first couple of hours, but then this game just mind-blowing me.Can't say gameplay part is great, but story and characters just amazing.

Would you mind if I join? I deleted my previous numbers here as I've won a new game~
It was a bit... Problematic, since I've only won 2 games and one of them has a bug that makes me unable to finish the last level.
As for my favorite, I'd pick Crab Cakes Rescue. Despite having this bug which has been abandoned by the developer, I still enjoyed it. Got 3 stars through 7 level sets without using any power ups, but the final level 9 didn't unlock after I beat level 8. sobs
Edit: I've won a new game. I'll play it when I get access to wifi later, as my limited data package can't afford a lot of gigabytes.
Final Edit: I have been invited, thank you very much~ :3

You have a wrong idea of our group. Take your time to properly enjoy your wins before applying. Then, when viewing your application and account(s), we will see and consider what taking a good care of wins means for you.
No one seriously cares of statistics. Our listed minimal requirements are a formality to give interested people an idea of the absolute minimum beneath which there is no point in leaving an application to the group. Rushing wins (e.g. for the sake of statistics) can be one of reasons against inviting the person and this is stated in our group information on Steam pages.
Just enjoy your wins in a way natural for you. You don't need to force or to prove anything to anyone, right? You will find your ways to all the places where you need to be. To all the places which exist for you.

by rushing i meant playing new games more often(been more than a year havent been active on steam),
and it is not that 25% mark i m trying to achieve..
the thing being i participated in every giveaway i found till 10 months ago, so games just stacked up while i only played CSGO(love that game) then i joined playing appreciated nd started playing games won on sg cause too much of any game bores me....
i only download games that i think would be fun, have around 250+ in library... nd i even try to complete a few games to perfect(100% achievement), post playing appreciated i started only taking part in wishlist giveaways on sg
so by rushing i just meant gaming around 8hrs+ a day :D
nd i don't leave playing a game just cause i have achieved 25% achievement, i leave it when i think its not interesting to me anymore/ its just too hard for me......
in my opinion playing any game - rather facing the difficulties to complete level of a game is fun, otherwise the story of the game is really fun
or trying to achieve that 100% achievement - perfect game is fun(due to difficulty)

I don't have the script myself but another member checked my stats for me and it seems I would qualify, so I'm asking to join now!
Deciding on what my favorite win has been is a tough choice because I've won several games that I had a good time playing. For now I decided to go with The Darkness II, it was my very first win and I neglected it far too long only to realize that it was a ton of fun when I finally got to playing it. I've since sought to use that experience to better push myself to fight my backlog and along with the monthly challenges here on SG I've been doing some good progress. :)

Hi, you are currently a long way below our minimal requirements.
Discover and play your wins in own pace, maybe some day you could join our small community. We are looking forward to it.
Script thing is not that hard. For members who are not close to 100% of played wins it is almost necessary to control own winning and playing statistics - not to break our group rules.

Hello, I'd like to join and believe my stats show I do enter GA only with the intent to play them :)
As for my favorite wins over the last two years, it would have to be hellblade. I was nervous about playing it because it was a bit outside my normal preferences but I got lucky enough to win it here and it was simply amazing the way they tackled psychosis. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Hello, i would love to apply. For some time i enter giveaways only for games i want to play. I have nearly all games played (except the latest win i didnt got to yet) Im not sure if i have 25% achievements in all games though, some were super hard or super annoying to play and i just couldnt progress further.
My favorite win would be probably Tesla Effect: A Tex Murphy Adventure, even though its not my favorite genre by far, i was really excited and entertained while playing it, it probably left the longest lasting impression and i cant wait to eventually try the other games from franchise too. My second favorite is probably Warhammer® 40,000: Dawn of War® - GOTY, its one of the many, many games i used to own on original DVD but like 90% of my collection it was borrowed and sadly never returned by my friends, glad i can slowly fill up all those games missing at least in digital form on my steam.

Oh, Warhammer® 40,000: Dawn of War <3 One of the greatest titles of WH40k franchise. I also played it pre-Steam and am still remembering it. Mechanics was perfect, really fun, even long after learned and mastered.

You should use the script to determine whether you pass the minimal requirements or not. All the information is provided in our group info.

Playing Matters is a group that values playing wins from SteamGifts. We hope to create a respectable and dependable platform to unite friendly and passionate gamers.
Our group is not so much about making giveaways, but about enjoying what we already have and sharing fun with like-minded people. We aim to create a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere in our group.
We fully encourage fun little chats to take place in our group giveaways. Additionally we have our own Discord server for our members to make new friends and enjoy each other’s company while also enjoying our wins.
Before applying to join our group, please make sure that:
How to apply:
If you meet the requirements mentioned above and want to join, reply to this topic stating that you are applying to the group and tell us a bit about your favourite SG win. It doesn’t have to be much - maybe a sentence or two.
Creating a BLAEO account is not required but we’d still like you to post the link to your profile if you have it, whether you use it actively or not.
We will have a look at your profile(s) and contact you in due time.
We hope to see you among us. Have fun winning games and playing them!
Please don’t send friend requests to mods or admins.
If your application is rejected please don’t allow this to break your spirit. Instead use it as a motivation to discover and enjoy new games among your SG wins. Who knows maybe your next favourite game is right around the corner.
Additional Info:
As a member of Playing Matters moderator team, I'd like to emphasize that our group is oriented into beating all the possible wins. Not just trying/starting won games and dropping them. Beating games is totally not just about getting 25% of achievements either. Majority of games unlocks 25% of achievements way before being beaten and these dropped wins are not what we are looking for with our requirements. We have to look into each applying user personally.
While for members of PM the maintenance rule will be checked using Kelnage's scripts plus by periodically looking into playing statistics (to counter cheating etc.), when we are checking accounts of a person who applies to the group, we wish to see more than 50% of wins beaten. If account has less than half of wins taken a good care or if this percentage is unclear for us, we will prefer the future member of PM to play more of their wins first before entering our small community, where mostly everyone exceeds our minimal requirements by a decent margin and deserves similarly responsible and passionate winners.
We are totally not in hurry to make our group bigger.
I'd like to emphasize also, that entering our group and winning games outside of the group, which will not be played, will not be taken lightly. A decent and honest person should learn to control own appetites and possibilities. While we don't have specific formal rules regarding members' wins outside of PM, our group is created for people who believe that playing SG wins is the only correct approach to received gifts and who acts correspondingly and consistently to it (with the only relaxation regarding very old wins, which are still encouraged to be given a decent try). Our group's formal rules are a projection of our ideas/ideals, not the other way around, so everyone who wants to join, please seriously consider if you are up to our standards and course.
