If you're looking for RPG: old Fallouts>New Vegas>>>>>Fallout 3.

But if you just want to wander around, it's nice.

I played it on Win7 and Win8. Worked fine for me. Just bought it last week finally too :)

Only ever played it on 7 and it works fine.

EDIT: I realise it says that it is un-optimized for 7, but I've got 11 hours on it so far on 7 and not had one crash / problem.

YES - probably my favorite game in the past 10 years. I liked all the DLC except mothership zeta, i thought it was too repetitive (setting and enemies)
but like a lot of ppl have been saying maybe you should wait for it to go on sale

visit vaultmp.com for further information. the mp is already playable (i'm currently writing some pawn/c++ scripts for it) but it's still in alpha stage. really nice project run by a single person in his freetime :)

Yes, it is an excellent RPG, typical of Bethesda. I would advise following the normal tactic of waiting for the -75% deal to get more bang for your buck, but a great game.
