I'd love to get involved with a group like this, and I do have some extra keys I'm itching to give away :)

"We don't want you to maintain a 1:1 ratio."
From the looks of it, that's exactly what your point system requires. Am I missing something?

Oh, so you'd like to give away some crappy stuff and win some expensive stuff, or you'd prefer to not contribute at all and just leech?
Also, nobody forces you to bother with my group.
The point system is here so I can see who contributes to the group and who's just leeching. There will be rewards for the most active members (actually there is a reward right now).

Hmm, did You read my comment with proper understanding? When I said "I make $100 of giveaways so I can win $100 worth of others giveaways" I thought that this itself implied my fair approach ... when You think about it Your answer might suggest that Your intentions are shady, but I will not go that way. It's just not my bussines.
I think this is my fault. I should state my things in less obscure way. What I ment by my comment was:
When ppl create groups with 1:1 ratio (no matter if this is 1:1 GA-wise, $-wise or any other -wise) with exactly that intension its saying: "give away something and You will be allowed to get the same amount". This approach is strange, "I can just spend my $100 on stuff I want without any random factor to it".
What many ppl joining those groups thinks is "1:1 ratio ... hmm ... I can buy stuff on sales and I will be treated as if I spent full amount". Now that can and should be considered leeching. But realy, should it be considered that way?
I may be wrong but I think this site exist to give ppl chance to giveaway game they do not need so it won't just sit there and gather dust. When I saw this site I saw selfless idea that said: "those who have excess games will help those who lacks in game department". What I see here is healthy market of some sort.
Dont get me wrong, I dont say that Your group is worse than other groups in that regard. It might be even more even but it still incorporates that bussiness model which I think is not align with the original spirit of this site.
Sorry if my first comment wasn't clear. I hope this one explains my approach a lot better.

Private giveaway groups were always there and always will. I just want the system to be more fair even as I'll have to spend way more time maintaining the spreadsheet, keeping the group alive, creating events and other stuff. As you said, my group isn't worse than any other private group.
We make giveaways, we win giveaways. Making giveaways makes us happy and winning makes us happy as well.
I wouldn't make any group like this one, if I hadn't any experience with maintaining groups and keeping people entertained. There's nothing "shady" about me nor the group.

Sounds interesting, and I like to join this group.
But I have a question, because it's not clear for me:
Do you always have to make a giveaway after you win a game, or do you just have to do giveaways to keep your WP/BP above 0?
So can you make like 10 giveaways at once and then win a couple of games before you have to make a giveaway again?

I'm interested. Read the rules and agree. I know a few members, but most I do not. Nice to interact with a group of new faces.

Life's not fair. We are.
UPDATE! We'll be recruiting 4 more members every two weeks until we hit 40.
CV requirement was increased to 200. Entry giveaway is still required.
We managed to recruit bunch of friendly people (28 when I'm editing the thread) who actively participate in discussions and now, we're looking for even more. Until this day, we hosted around 200 non-bundle and 50 bundle game giveaways. There're also occasional key drops and events.
Detailed info about the group is posted on the group's main page.
Spreadsheets:
Points
Giveaways (there are two sheets on this one - one with current and one with ended giveaways, some older GAs aren't included since the sheet was created just recently)
Point system explained:
Everytime you make a giveaway, you earn "Win points" (WP) or "Bundle Points" (BP) - depending on whether the game was in a bundle before, or not.
1 Win Point equals 1$ (pretty much like SG's contributor value). 1 Bundle Point equals 1 game.
Once you WIN a giveaway, you lose certain amount of WPs or BPs (the above applies - 1WP=1$, 1BP=1game).
WPs/BPs shall be given once you make a giveaway (as soon as possible), if you close it/no entries gained, etc., your points will be removed.
Main rules:
Note: Being active in chat is not a requirement, but it's recommended (nice people to talk with, random key drops...).
Entry giveaway:
