You can always come into our chat sometime and see if the language thing will be a problem. Right now our only event really is our Game of the Month Club we started 3 months ago. I pick a random member and they then have a choice to suggest a game everyone should play. We have a thread made for each game picked and we use that for discussion. It's been pretty good so far.

Other gaming events were put on hold until we can figure out a better way to do them. We also have a Backlog Crusade many members participate in. You randomly pick a game from your library and play it. Then you write what you thought about it in a specific thread made just for your crusade.
