Do you think that most thanks'ers are bots?
I type, "Thank you kindly" to most giveaways I enter. Along with a response to the giveaway description, if there is one. I try to type it extra fast so I'll mess up a little bit each time. Then if there are any typos I leave them in. Also i hope that the typo isn't the same each time so it doesn't look like I just mistyped while setting up a bot or whatever. It would bother me more to not say thank you than if I got blacklisted for saying thank you.

I generally only say thank you to people who gives away games that I really want. Other games, I'll say thank you when I win. x:
I mean, I don't want my inbox to be cluttered with "thanks" either so I don't do it in respect for the creator. Well, if someone requests for something attached to the comment then I will comply, albeit since I normally frequent here through my mobile phone it's kinda hard to find cat gifs/youtube videos. :P
I don't want to blacklist people who says thanks but if I see a C+P'd comment posted on every single giveaway I'm doing at the same time, I'm pretty sure you're dumped into the blacklist. Please, for goodness sake, try making your own giveaway and see how cluttering thanks comments are. At least now you know why you're going to their blacklists.

I stopped thanking people when it became clear it was annoying a lot of people, and they were just assuming you're a robot.
I think it's unfortunate. I mean, I'd much rather have a thank you in my feed than an auto-loading gif I didn't ask for. Those are the ones that bug me.

Well, I always write a form of thanks (Usually along the lines of "Thank you for the giveaway~") on everything I enter, unless the description asks not to. But I personalize them sometimes too, and I always manually type it out... So... No, I don't think everyone that posts 'thanks' is a bot. Plus, as you mentioned this is a multi-language, multi-country website - some people don't know much more then a simple thank you, so to blacklist for trying to show appreciation seems a bit harsh to me.

I always wonder if those people who always reply "thanks" to every GA they enter are really bots. Many people are blacklisting thanks'ers so if anybody went through the trouble of writing a bot then it would make more sense not to comment at all. My guess is that people with little to no proficiency in English would write a simple "thanks" instead of going through the trouble of translating a whole paragraph. I am learning Russian so I can really relate to people who are too lazy to read sometimes. Depending on your skills it sometimes requires a lot of effort.
