I was just thinking about the remaining possible free games which are not yet known. They must be among the list of games which are new on EGS and which are currently not on discount. For example, PREY and Pathfinder are not on sale.
After all, they would not want the buyers to refund their games. Maybe Titan quest will be free as well.

It seems there was a new leak mentioning Control for tomorrow, and the clue seems to support that. DLC or no DLC, I can't say, but I would lean towards the latter. Regarding the first leak, either it was wrong from the start, or Epic changed the game to be given away for whatever reason.
Or maybe it's me who's wrong about the clue and where I see Jesse's hand, it's actually something else that points to a different game. I invite anyone who thinks has a better guess to tell us.

You should be aware that neither the Mooncrash DLC nor the Typhon Hunter DLC tie into the main story at all.
The Mooncrash DLC also plays more like a roguelike game with permadeath (which I personally abhor). But since I have it on Steam I'll have to play it for the achievements, otherwise I wouldn't bother with it. Many people who enjoyed the main game don't seem to like it.
The Typhon Hunter DLC is another weird one, which is basically a multiplayer mode where one survivor is stalked by five enemies. It also has optional VR. It has very negative reviews on Steam and I doubt many people play it anymore.

Not sure what drugs you're on, but it doesn't even matter :D Besides both Epic and Steam list it as Prey. Anyway I agree that this is a great giveaway. No matter at how much Steam boys bitch at Epic, they have very decent to great giveaways every now and then. Being a Steam fan boy myself, I started erasing games from my Steam wish list that I got free elsewhere, because really, what matters is the game. I'm also not gonna extend my HB subscription because most of the good shit I got from it I also got on Epic for free.

It's weird that they still sell "World War Z GOTY" but otherwise the discounts are the same on Steam and Epic. For those that don't know World War Z Aftermath is the most complete version (deluxe edition specifically), it contains everything from the GOTY edition + the Aftermath DLC. The GOTY edition was the most complete before Aftermath came out. So to sell it with only a 5€ difference (while a sale is going on) is questionable, since it's only purpose would be to take advantage of the people who don't know the GOTY edition isn't the most complete version. While it might be possible they would gave away the GOTY to promote selling their Aftermath DLC, I think it would be too early for that and generally EPIC giveaways have only included base versions of the games they gave away (to cash in on people potentially buying DLC's).

I'm not really sure how much of the 39 minutes they actually played cause it's not really like Diablo other than it's mostly a top down ARPG. A good portion of the game has a variety of puzzles, if it's similar to any game I'd say it would be Zelda. The game also has a deep spell system that's really cool.

Yeah, the 2013 one had severe camera shaking even in cutscenes. IIRC the second and third one weren't as bad in that regard. Good action games but lacking a lot of the original tomb raiding flair of exploring and solving riddles/puzzles.
