got this info from book of demon's steam news:

"To our Ukrainian friends considering escaping the horrors of war: if you can risk getting to our border there are thousands of people from all over Poland waiting there to get you to safety. We have food, toys for kids, medical and legal aid. You will get driven to your friends or families all over Europe. If you have no one we will take care of you and build a new life for you. Thousands of families are offering their homes to refugees. You don't need a passport to cross the border, take your pets with you. Everyone is welcome. More info in Ukrainian here (official government site)."

Russian government announced that families of fallen soldiers will receive 11 000 rubles. That is rouhgly 100USD (today).
Now we have officially confirmed how much life in Russia is worth.

Probably internet fake - in reality it's 2 mln rubles - approximately ~20k USD in current prices, but not too much as well

Nah, that's just what Kadyrov said. I'm pretty sure that families of soldiers from Chachnya will actually get these 2 mln. And their names will be published. Everyone else will remain nameless and forgotten, and their families - penniless.

I am a bot. I received 15 rubles for this message.
Now that we've figured that out, let's you read what I wrote and think about it.

Facebook, Twitter remove disinformation accounts targeting Ukrainians
The larger of the two disinformation groups operated in Russia, as well as the Russian-dominated Donbas and Crimea regions of Ukraine.
https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/internet/facebook-twitter-remove-disinformation-accounts-targeting-ukrainians-rcna17880

I read it in passing.
I see that you have changed the content of your post.
Therefore, I was considering a response but will discontinue it, as it may change the intent of my response.
(I don't mean to hurt any sensible people in Ukraine or Russia.)
If the BOT is a joke, it would be a good scene not to re-edit, as it would be an act of inflaming.
One thing I can tell you is that the injustices and nuisances of those in power in Russia are not reported in Russia. The other countries continued to watch them.

Dude... You won't get a new computer for many years now (if ever). You won't be able to go to the cinema - unless you are fine with watching sickening propaganda (actually, you are probably fine with it). You won't be able to buy games because of counter-sanctions. The quality of food on your table will lower drastically. It amazes me how Putin supporters can't comprehend the consequences of war.

Unrest in Georgia, Belarus, Ukraine - all this happened relatively recently. Do you think this is a coincidence?

No, nations not wanting to remain Putin's vassals wasn't a coincidence. Your parents experienced how Putin was good for them, other countries experienced how he held them back from fulfilling their potential.
Sorry if not every former soviet republic wishes to merely exist under one of Putin's marionettes, corrupted by oligarchs etc. forever.

Moreover, many countries in their history have invaded other countries - and no one has received such an answer in the first seconds (why did the world not look when the US invaded Vietnam? When they bombed Iraq? During other conflicts involving America. But the world is not watching when the US is waging war.). Do you think this is all a coincidence?

First second? This is a conflict that began in 2014 and already did cost Ukraine a lot. Sorry that we aren't interested in waiting out how much else Russia intends to rip away from Ukraine this time.

Not to mention that your knowledge of world history is pretty flawed. Vietnam was divided, The North "invaded" the South, the US waged war on their behalf.
And there was lots of opposition during their last war against Iraq. Almost all of Western Europe.

Well, I believe you, but that's how dictatorship works.

Take credit of everything goes okay: of course Russia improved in the last DECADES, so did most of the world, do you think it happened thanks to a single person? Well then, if you look for GDP per capita graphs for almost every country in the world you'll see a nice positive trend, I guess mankind is fucking lucky and we always choose the best leaders

Something goes wrong? fake news/censorship/it's our enemies fault (just a little note: we in NATO, don't wake up every morning yelling "death to russian", we live our life and that's it, we don't care about ruining your life)

Someone is questioning our glorious leader? must be some kind of spy/traitor/whatever, how would we do without our genius, we would be doomed

The facts are that Russia today is still poor and has a low life expectancy, you deserve more than not starving, I guess you don't understand where Russian's economy is going.

Don't get me wrong, I don't blame you, been there, done that. We had our glorious clown too https://i.pinimg.com/originals/f2/83/91/f28391cf6974cec0ca423f27afe85670.jpg

Then came Putin
Mikhail Gorbachev the man whose actions were one of the causes of this chaos

You are making and obvious mistake, correlation not equal causation. The main reason why USSR fell apart is the oil price drop and the horribly large military expenses, comparable to the country in an active war. The same with economic boost in 2000s when Russia was bathing in oil money.
And your beloved Putin was already corrupt in the beginning of 90s. While he was in St.Petersburg he was in charge of barter contracts, according to which in exchange for rare earth metals and oil products the city should've obtain food supplies - meat, potatos, etc. And while metals and oil were sent for the cost of hundreds of million dollars, food was never delivered. He was already a thief back then and was robbing russian people.

My parents also suffered through 90s, sometimes we didn't have money to buy bread. In the beginning of 2000s I was graduating school and also was hopeful for the changes and somehow connected positive changes with the new president.
I was young and naive.

And now, when Putin started a war, the only one being naive here is you.

Poland did not manage to start to rebuild after I WW, and in the meantime Hitler strike a deal with Stalin. They decide to portion another country like a hunting trophy, to boost their own economy and influence.
Firstly Germans attacked, then Russia. Then Hitler was like "oh you know what, I think we will attac Russia" and then Russia was like "oh welp you're not". 20% of whole Poland population was killed, that's like 6mln people killed by Russians and Germans just because. Only about 600k due to war operations. Rest was Germans and Russians murdering civilians, majority of educated people and army was lost. Taking them to camps, throwing to Siberia, murdering in mass graves like in Katyń.
Poland was burned to the ground. There was nothing but rubble left in the capital.

And then glory days - we get under Russian occupation. Get Russia controlled puppet government. 45 years of terror, repressions, eradicating of polish culture, grand plans made by some politician at the top of the ladder without much connection to reality. Huge and extremely inefficient farms, as private is bad. Rebuilding areas that were beneficial to Russia, without much thought to focusing on what's best for polish people.

For some reason it didn't really work? And with time and after strikes one puppet communist leader was replace by another. Each promising a bit more freedom in exchange for social rest. But in the end whole idea of communist country did not really hold up and it was leading Poland into bigger and bigger crisis. You can't pump billions into some strategic project, like new city focused on metalwork, and neglect other areas without problems. Shops were empty, fancy food like sweets or meat was rationed.

My dad didn't have it bad. His dad (and grandad...) was a miner, and miners were important for communists to build heavy industry. After all power plants, steelworks etc. all rely on coal. Cities that were focusing on coal and metalworks were flourishing. Many people still say that "It was better with Gierek". Sure, for those lucky enough to be in a good position. They had food, cheap housing, secure work.

My mum on the other side was born in the countryside. They didn't have electricity, all field work was done by them + horse. She had one pair of shoes and had to go through the mud to school. There were no ground roads. She was actually happy when temp was low as mud was freezing so it was easier to walk. Had to do homework early on top of doing all the work around the farm, as can't write in the dark and candles were expensive. Had one room shared with 6 siblings. It was actually nicer to sleep in the summer in the barn as more space. She was forced to learn Russian, like everyone else from her generation. Didn't have toys nor time to be a kid.

So even just my parents have quite different experience when it comes for communists. Some were lucky. Most weren't. Thankfully in 89' communist government was too weak to oppose mass protests. And Russia was also not strong enough to come with "peace mission". So we were able to liberate ourselves. And with help from west made huge leaps in economy and life quality that would not be possible with Russia. Seeing how "far" we went in the previous 45 years. I think all post-soviet countries share similar stories and would never want to fall under Russia umbrella again.

I'm not saying it did not get better in Russia in the past 30 years. But honestly, trying to subdue so many nations while not having your own economy sorted could not end well. So getting rid of this "ballast" and focusing on your own inside problems surely helped (same as having huge oil and gas reserves. But look where Norway or Saudi Arabia is with their economy while also sitting on oil).
Compare how much ahead west is in comparison to Russia. While west was doing huge leaps Russia went from starving to "have food". And central European countries that get rid of Russian influence are somewhere in between. Still a lot of poverty and years behind the west but way better than in Russia or Belarus.

So if I understand you correctly.
You believe in democracy in Russia, even though he threw the opposition in jail.He is right now throwing normal Russians in jail because they are against war. Really? Shouldn't everybody be against war?
Russia doesn't even have freedom of speech, let alone a democracy,
https://rsf.org/en/ranking
Feel free to look the map, See how red Russia is? Russia doesn't have any independent news because its not allowed by the Russian government. So you only get to hear what they want you to hear.

Russia kills innocent Ukraine civilians, with illegal weapons. Threatened a nuclear war.
And that's because some people were hungry 30 years ago? That's all?
I dunno man, I'm poor too but in a western country. but i never killed anybody simply cause I have no money.
So you feel that people were poor 30 years ago and the solution is to make another country poor too and killing them? Your family has experience with hunger, its not fun. Why would they wish it on someone else? Isn't there a word for empathy om Russian or something?
And you support Putin even though he is putting the whole country in an economic depression at this very moment and you actually believe this war is making you richer instead of bankrupt?

I can copy paste different links about the freedom of speech in Russia if you want from independent sources. But all of them are red. Even your own normal Russians are thrown in jail because of demonstrating against war en violence.
lmao, so, you are now saying your news comes from social media too? That explains your reaction very much. You read facebook news. I am sure they are correct haha :D
Why I am so sure Russia is lying? Hmmm pretty much because in all of the of the cases they make a conflict their reply is "It didn't happen" "we didn't do it" "it's a lie"
Russia shot down a malaisian airplane with almost 200 dutch citizens. You can even fucking hear people talking in Russian that they did it. But again they didn't do it?
And I would like to refer you again to the website I just posted. The Netherlands has freedom of news on number 6, Russia is on freaking number 150 while there are only 197 countries. You guys are almost dead last on last place of freedom of speech and press. Feel free to find a website that proves ,e wrong (not a Russian one ofc cause ypi arem
t allowed to speak, sp an independent one)
Ofc the Ukraine lies too. They are high on the list too. Ofc not Russian high, cause they don't want to be Russian. (nobody does really) That tends to happen when you are getting attacked and killed. They don't want war and dont want to die so they want help.
There is a very good reason the Ukraine isn't in the EU or the NATO yet. We avoid conflicts around here, You know, we don't like people getting killed for no reason at all. It sounds reasonable to me.
I wouldn't step a single foot in a NATO country if I were Russia though, Then it's is simply game over for everybody, and its not the west that is making those threats. Guess who? your buttbuddy.

Just out of curiosity do you actually believe their are 0 Russian casualties during a massive invasion? Just wondering how naive people are with Putins dick in their mouth. Do you actually suck up everything he says? Dpes his sperm in your mouth causes you brain damage or what?

Wtf if wrong with you people? War is bad.How hell can you like people killing people. Yeh, I have a big mouth. But there is something seriously wrong with you if you support killing people, illigal weapons and threats to start a nuclear war. In a statement, the prosecutor general accused the two outlets of disseminating what it called “information known to be false regarding the actions of Russian servicemen, as part of a special operation to protect the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Luhansk People’s Republic.”

It also says Echo of Moscow and TV Rain have been posting information which it says calls “for extremism, violence against citizens of the Russian Federation, mass violations of public order and public security.” Authorities in Russia forbid rallying without a permit and may consider broadcasting or reporting specific information on unauthorized rallies to be considered organizing illegal protests.

It is good to know where the official tweets of each country are and where the official websites are located.

It's terrible that it had to come to this, but hopefully this will be the beginning of the end of Putin's regime, the same way that the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan played a part in the downfall of the USSR, and maybe there can finally be a free Russia before humanity destroys itself.

Now a cabinet member requested Xbox and Playstation to cut off Russia via Twitter.
Considering how many other companies already cut ties with Russia for now, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if the games industry follows soon.

It's an unimportant story that I suddenly remembered.
Since the Tamagotchi is also a machine, the dog was very pleased.
I remember that he once donated an Akita dog named "Yume(dream)" to Putin.🐶

The dog was expected to be a bridge between Japan and Russia.
Ten years later, the Ukrainian " Мрія(dream)" was destroyed by Russia.
The life span of a dog is 10 to 13 years.
Not long from now, Putin's family dream will depart in a lifetime.
Those who rob others of their dreams are robbed of their dreams by the world.
That may be karma.

Can we live each day with gratitude and goodwill toward those who have given dreams to others?
The same would be true if dreams were replaced by hopes.
I hope that any further attempts to deprive all living things of their dreams and hopes will end immediately.
Such deeds will only lead to bottomless misery.

A man from Odate City, Japan, who raised an Akita dog that Akita Prefecture gave to Russian President Vladimir Putin 10 years ago, called the military invasion of Ukraine "a forceful and shameful approach" and appealed for an early withdrawal.

Not sure how truthful this info is, but allegedly Meera Selva (Reuters) interviewed Christo Grozev (Bellingcat):
https://otter.ai/u/rrigWPawjLX5QA8cpOy9RXdpg98

Here's the dreadful part:

More recently, it was December when another whistleblower again a civic source told us that more war with Ukraine is on the agenda told us that Putin had decided and boasted to his small circle of loyalists that he was going to start a war in Ukraine and that he was going to actually consider using tactical nuclear weapons, and that this has actually frightened everybody well. Except for a very small, militarized elite.

I mean you never know with "whistleblowers" how truthful their information is. Perhaps Putin already has been shot down on such an idiotic idea the first minute he opened his idiotic mouth.

But still ... chilling news

https://twitter.com/paulmcleary/status/1499100900698251264 - the russian military has totally lost it`s mind. They are trying to provoke anyone anywhere.. It just feels like Putin wants all out war with anyone. I hope he gets fed poison before his sick mind can corrupt the world even more I mean even his so called circle of loyalists must have a line they are not prepared to cross once the actions of one demented shriveled old man will get them all killed

on a more serious note:
the developers of factorio publicly sided with ukraine today.
apart from the expected propaganda boys coming up with the usual "but nazis!!" argument there was a surprising amount of angry chinese comments as well.
funny how that works isn't it...

Seems many of those reviewers have 2-4 hours playtime. Maybe they just bought the game to leave a negative review and played too much for a refund.

i looked at factorio's store page and didnt see a single bad review, switched off topic on and filtered negative and only a few negative reviews all based on there game preference. switched to all language's and holy china/rusky spam.

Germany is considering upping its economic support to Ukraine, Since 2014, Germany has sent €2 billion financial aid, more than any other country.

Every invasion is heart breaking whether its Russia invading Ukraine or USA/NATO invading Iraq, Jordan, Syria, Afghanistan, Bosnia, Somalia, Bolivia, Yemen, Vietnam. It saddens me how NATO/USA pushed Ukraine for this war. Ukraine got caught between USA/NATO vs Russia war and USA/NATO dumped Ukrainians in the middle of war. Now Ukrainians are suffering because of all these stupid power hungry leaders.

So what? We also have people believing that COVID-19 is a huge conspiracy, so why shouldn't we also have some people in Ukraine believing such things?
Does she have anything to back up her claims of Zelensky being a puppet or the election being rigged though? Nope.

So what we have here is someone believing in the same tales as you do and somehow you think that this would validate your POV. It doesn't.

Edit: Not to mention that even if it would be true, it wouldn't give Russia any right to invade Ukraine or tear major cities apart. But hey, congrats on finding that video.

Then I don't understand why you report people who have nothing more than their opinions to offer. There really isn't anything of value in that video, besides the confirmation that obviously people exist who believe such stuff.

In Germany we have the same problem of TV talkshows granting even the most fringe opinion screentime because they want to include "alternative views". The quality of these views and opinions is often irrelevant.

Because it's state propaganda from a dictatorship that is currently conducting the largest invasion in Europe since WW2. Honestly they should have tried to curtail Russian propanga way earlier. Russia has been funding extreme right wing eurosceptic parties all over Europe and even fringe neonazi groups.

Also this complaint is a bit rich coming from a Russian citizen when there's basically zero freedom of press in your country.

Stay strong. Hopefully it'll end in a 'tolerable' way and other countries won't hesitate helping you rebuild your country and make it even better than it used to be. Hopefully Russia will be sentenced to pay reparations.

Shouldn't Steam do the same ?

Kinguin is a grey store with shady keys, Steam is a legit 1st party store - why it should hate all russian people because of Putin's scum?
