Recently I decided share some good dlc, that I also bought to myself.
And I was amazed at the number of people who entered, and won, even though they already had... 29 re-rols for 2 ga.
Big thanks for patience and majority of re-rols to jatan11t!

So, now there is just my first bundled train from fresh bundle. (till Mar 11)

I actually won one once not knowing it was expansion that needed a base game,i thought it was stand alone like it was on the 360.I did rquest a r a re-roll and it never said DLC or expansion unless you actually checked Steam, which i did not as i knew i did not own the game and nothing indicated it was anything other then stand alone on the GA.

Though i did try and find a copy of the base game, but i could not find any for around sale price,if i could have i would have bought the game and then activated the expansionor

If anyone was curious the game was Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath.Usually i check dlc or games i am not sure if owning or dlc or what not,but i knew i did not have any C&C games,i just never gave it a thought as i always found the image in the GA marked with DLC or what not.

So now unless i am sure i try check just to be safe that it is stand alone or does not need the base game.

Yeah, DLC giveaways can be more work, but I doubt I'll stop doing them haha. Thanks for the giveaways!

Usually, whenever I see DLC in the GA list I check if I own it and if I do I hide it... But In trains etc I sometimes get confused which DLC I own...

29 re-rolls for 2 gibs? Blimey! Think my record was 5 for a giveaway of Dragon Age Origins Awakening expansion pack. Kept getting winners who didn't have the original game.

I block/ignore nearly a lot DLC giveaways when I see them myself.

Not big on re-visiting games so if I've already finsished playing something chances are I won't return to it to try out the DLC. There's a few exceptions for games I really loved, but if the DLC was out at the time I played through the game then there's a good chance I'd have bought it then myself if I liked the game.

If DLC is being given away for a game I've not played yet then I don't even know if I like the base game so I wouldn't want to win the DLC ahead of someone else who did like that base game and was eager to try out the extra content.

I only give DLC away in groups that I trust, because it's not worth it otherwise.
