That sounds like an awesome time. I have been to Australia before. I hope you enjoy yourself, just be sure to watch where you walk.

Well I was thinking about Ukraine but also heard that Iraq is lovely this time of year.

I lived in South Carolina for over 20 years and vacationed in Myrtle Beach at least once each year. Honestly, it's a tourist trap. :) BUT it's a great place to go if you haven't been (or haven't seen nearly everything there already). Some other coastal areas near Myrtle Beach I recommend visiting at least once are Wilmington, NC and Charleston, SC.
If you like Edgar Allan Poe, there is a little tavern near Charleston worth mentioning.
I hope you have a lovely trip. ^.^

+1 for Charleston! Lived here for twenty years and I still love it. Patriot's Point is another Tourist-y place that I love, but I'm pretty sure that's because of how often I went there when I was little. You can also do a little geocaching around here, and that's fun.

I would go Tramping or Mountaineering :) just a few hours from where I live in New Zealand

Mountaineering sounds like a fun adventure. As long as the mountain is not to dangerous.
Okay, maybe hiking would be better for me.

I should have said couple of weeks and not a couple of days in this description, but I am on my way now, and edited to reflect my terrible mathing abilities.
Just woke up, it is 5am here in Charleston, West Virginia. Next stop is Myrtle Beach, should be there about dinner time, traffic permitting fast travel. Will update this Discussion with some pics, giveaways, and other things as I can, as I soak my face in some warm Ocean Sun.

You should've been in Texas for summer. It usually goes over 100+ deg. over here.
you will melt

Made it yesterday, but was far to busy getting shitfaced to care about anything else.
Woke up today and had a great view of the sunrise, walked down to Beach to get a picture of it.
Along with the picture there may a giveaway attached to this post. Maybe two. I am already drunk.
I am also not in the mood to hide shit right now, nor make them invite only, so here are the links.

I felt like such a piece of crap for posting a public giveaway.
That I felt I had to make up for it with posting an invite only one make up for my Heresy.

iPod apple crap. My real camera was locked in the car and I didn't feel opening it, cause then I'd feel like driving it.

I am almost done not being drunk, just getting started. And I feel like falling off my balcony. So I added two more giveaways to keep me from going out there. I blame someone else for making me go out there and bringing me my camera.

Well the view from my place back home in the city is boarded up and burnt down houses. So this is an upgrade.

lol... indeed it is...
Looks nice... if i were u, i would spend my whole day at that beach :D

Not morbid at all. What is morbid is that I am refusing to leave my room to actually go out. Where the view becomes so much better. Maybe later when the beach bar opens I will.

I go and visit my mother. While she's still around to visit.
Comment has been collapsed.
That is a good proper thing to do. In fact I brought my mother along with me on my trip, rented her her own room with a view of the water. She is sleeping now, she is old. She sure does drink though, what a lush. My credit card does not like her.

It's good advice for everyone. Be nice to your mother. She won't be around forever, and she risked her life to bring you into this world. Assuming for a moment that her head is on straight, her heart is tied to her children the way your spinal cord is tied to you.

We get along very well. After my step father took his own life, she needed a break from certain things. She lives life to its fullest and I am happy to be along for the ride and contribute as much to it as she has given to me.

I have not been to China, Iran, North Korea and the Antarctic
I will never travel again which makes me sad. For when I became bed bound I had tickets for China (1 month trip) and had scheduled a cruise on to Antarctica. (Almost finished my goal of visiting and/or living in every Country on Earth (I course my time in Africa Zaire existed. lol [now called DRC]).
I love Thailand, Before my situation changed I had plan to lease in Thailand where I had my sailboat moored and own a house in Alaska plus keep my houses I had in Florida and Granada. Yes and continue sailing between them. How quickly things change and destroy the best laid plans.
Of course travelling was facilitated by the fact I had lived in the Panama, Italy, U.S.A., K.S.A. and Puerto Rico. Made travelling in those areas easier as did my dual citizenship so no travel restrictions.

Oh wow, I am sorry to hear of your situation. I had a friend that was in an accident when he was young and was paralyzed from teenage years, up until he pasted away just a few years ago.
I hope to visit Thailand, I have some cousins that have a business there renting personal jet boats, Sea-doo's I do believe they are called. They have invited me to stay a few times, but I may never come back as the things they tell me they do in the nightlife, sounds very intoxicating and exotic. And cheap. I should stop giving away games on here and move to Thailand, I'd be rich.

May be wrong word to use; but I feel lucky to have seen the world before being placed forever In this bed. The memories when not on morphine are good. :)
You must go to Thailand. You will never regret it. Be a tourist t and even go to "Bond Island"/ lol
Night life is what ever you can imagine so ....

Two weeks are short vacations!? jeez i cant imagin what is a normal or even long vacation to you!
Hope you enjoyed it :D
Comment has been collapsed.
Am enjoying it currently. Very good time. And yes, two weeks may sound like a long time, but in comparison, there is 365 days in a year and I am enjoying just 14 of them right now.

I am leaving for a short Holiday or Vacation in the next couple of weeks.
Winter is almost over for my State and I like to get some Ocean time in before Spring comes.
I am leaving for Myrtle Beach for two weeks in a few days.
I have been all over this neat country (US) of mine & like to visit the Ocean/Coastal regions the most.
How about you, where do you like to visit or would like to?
I may add a giveaway or key drop at some time to this, depending on how I feel
