I really hope so as i can sure use that (not much family left, friendship circle is pretty slim, basically just 1 female friend left).

If you are into anime, there is this anime about a lone young man adopting a young stray cat. The dynamic between the duo is really good. Each episode is divided into two parts. The first half is from the man view point, and the second half is from the cat view point.
There is a girl working at a pet shop giving some tips includes how to keep the cat exercise and not overweight.

My family had a dog when I was a kid. My father work in medical sector, and he is very strict about the fur problem, so we never have another dog or cat since then. Growing up, I think that dog and cat really hate me 😂.
A few years back, I rent a house. The neighbor next door has a cat, which often sunbaths on the rooftop. I look it over the window and it look back with a despising face. When we meet on the ground, the cat just turn back and walk away. I only just want to take a picture of it with my camera.
And the dogs in my neighborhood, they never stop barking when I passed by.

Jokes aside, I think you will do fine, if not for nothing else but the fact that you cared enough to ask around. That shows to me that you care and understand that she isn't a toy. And believe it or not, that's all you'll need as EVERY cat is sooooo different than any other cat.
I don't see fresh pics though!!!!!! When is she coming home??? Snowie.. Huh.. Better than a colleague that named his cat.. kitty xDDD It suits her :) As for her look.. Kittens tend to have a "sad" face when they want something. Maybe she was tired, sleepy, hungry, 100 different things

Well i still doubt because i can't even take care of myself, however i have to stop 1 part, financially and i just dont ever want to trip over the cat.
It's far away, and the car airco blew, and the woman fell, so it might even make it next week.

Oh, of course you'll trip over the cat.. There is no helping this.. Just try to not trip over a lot.. My dad tends to draaag his feet at night instead of lifting them so if he hits him by accident it's on the side and not a huge kick or to step on his paw. My mom on the other hand.. Tends to step on him a lot.. Thankfully it's a gentle one so the cat is fast enough to remove his paw. Personally, I never tripped or stepped over him or my previous cats (28 years cat owner and counting xDDD ) but I have bumped with them on a few occasions xD

Since i moved here i felt so lonely (and my mom due circumstances even more and i feel bad for her) that after sober a year, i went drinking again but 3x very badly (and i felt that, hope it's my last day of punishment) but i also lost 8 kg (or i didnt see it right the first time, but still 4-5 kg while i was in the right BMI. Why i said i might not be able to take care of myself after all.
I could handle the liquor in the past, but now more amount and % which i tripped 2-3 times myself, hence why i can't keep destructing this way.and really have a big chance falling on the cat.
But also the whole kitty box litter, i think if you done it enough you get used to it, but i am also still afraid for it.
Every time my mom tried to feed hers, you also had to like move because it was their time, or they would just lay on the staircase, so you have to step all the way over them. :p

I don't know if the cat can help with soothing you for the drinking BUT unless she is asleep, it's reeeeally difficult to land on her.. Even if you trip, chances are you'll hit and not the cat :P Not that this is a good thing.. But I'm commenting for the cat worry atm :P
Yes, it will eventually become a habit. But for a habit to develop you need time..
The best thing you can do is indeed "relax and enjoy the time". You'll learn to take care of her, she will show you what she needs anyway like Masa said.. It's IMPOSSIBLE to not understand what she wants.. if it's food, games, sleep, etc etc etc. And they have instincts as well. If she senses that in the middle of the room there is "danger" she will sleep somewhere else after a few times, they learn too from their fuck ups :P Because many times you can't predict their fuck up :P

I can easily say i stop drinking (more when i drink it's becoming less and less clear to stop), i been sober a year twice, and the longetivity and also increasing sickness i feel, and financially it's not worth it anymore, i always say it's poison and i still take it anyway, it's actually the whole stupid moving and how my mom feels, why i went back to drinking, if you have nobody i guess for a lot of people it's just as hard.
And when you try to ask someone for a drink (which you normally would never do) you get turned down, and i asked my neighbour also with cats exactly what fence she has to protect them on a note in her mailbox (since she wasn't home) and then no reply..
Well with moms cats i did actually step on one, once or twice because they were sleeping on the stairs in the pitch dark and the light was broken. Also one got stuck with his head in a bag, he was running back and for like crazy while we tried to help him.
And there is not much danger, my bedroom will remain closed (especially since i stored a lot of the junk there) she can have the bathroom, balcony and living room (she already has more rooms then me).

Any bad day can throw anybody back to any bad habit (that soothes them even briefly). Instead focus on what else you can do to help relieve the stress/anger/sadness and any other negative (but not only) emotion. It's a mountain.. A fluffy friend is a good "walking stick" though :P

Many actually seek their refugee in alcohol (even in a very bad way) or someone that has a stress moment will take a cigarette, or other forms, it's there, and it shouldn't be, but as long as the government can still get good taxes on it, Beside banning alcohol wouldn't even work, people just make their own.
Yeah i hope she will be, and i hope it clicks, because of the far distance i couldn't even see her yet, that can always become a thing maybe, i dunno cats.
Well chicken wire fence. but a special sort, and she knows the lengths. there are nets so they don't jump over, i am surprised she hasn't for her cats, because they are already bigger.
Carton boxes they also like, and scratch it to bits.

In all seriousness though, remember to set some boundaries with the cat for her own good. You don't want her to be totally dependent on you because she will be sad when you are not around. It's better to see her sad for 5 minutes until you give her something to forget or something pulls her attention, than being sad for the duration of your absence :P
Cats won't easily jump if they have nowhere to go.. The issue here is from the pic you had showed that they have where to go.. You aren't high enough for them to be dangerous :P Add plants as well for the place to not be boring for you or the cat

My mother always gave them sausage sticks when she had to go away, that always distracted her cats.
I am a bit worried though about my furniture when i am not here in the beginning, i got lemon spray that keeps em away but eventually she wants to lay on the couch, which is fine, but it has to stay whole offcourse.
I am blocking the railing with chicken wire fence, i don't know about a net across the wide open yet, for some time she can't jump that far.
Yeah but then i have to be careful again not to pick poisonous plants like someone else told me, i also rather have it full with herbs and vegetables/fruit, but 1 tomato plant already gave up after 2 weeks (it's 30c).
And yes it tastes way better in a store, but i am like why buy such an expensive plant when it just gives me the same amount of free in the store.
